;)
take some pics of the tools you are using ! :)

Nahh, everyone carry a weapon in his/her car, but they are peaceful and nobody wants to be involved in a drive-by shooting ;)

i thought drive-by shooting is their hobby:D

Woooooow, you must be quite a good long distance swimmer, will I be able to see you at the Swimming World Championship this month?

yes ! i practice every day in my private swimmingpool :D

(along with all the old british, french, german, italian, chinese and whatever i might encounter in a day of work)
but(as if you didn't know)!:D there's a better fit with the parallel tip.
redface.gif

 then you need JIS drivers :)
...when the screw is new...yes...when the slot is worn it looks more like a "V" ....like the regular screwdriver tips...as if you didn't know :D

oh! yes! i forgot, i do work on swiss screws too! albeit more slooooowly.... :lol_hitti

don´t fall asleep while working !!! :)

yes, unless you're in a tourist group backed-up by a few Panzer divisions or are coming to replace said Germanic tourists a few years later!

:D
no seriously :)
i read that the french radio must play french songs and next to english words there must be the french word too... ?

gettin' snarky, eh? :lol_hitti

naw :D

better, think about finding me one right around the corner!

ok i´ll try
Stahlwille servante d'atélier ? right ?

no, they're not "good", not even "sub-good", they're real crappy and being shot with a **** phone it's a miracle they're not turning worse! :D

should try to shoot some tools with film and real lighting one day. one day... :spit:

Was trying to cheer you up man

It would be like this. :D

<iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/YQLWkXt4p1U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

:D

BTW did anyone notice you can buy tools at a tool store in GTA Vice City... :bounce:
American, that was hilarious :spit::spit::spit::spit::spit:

Yes, but why buying tools when they come to you, in the beggining of the game (more or less), when you have to make a jury change his mind, somebody runs over a worker and it leaves his hammer on the street, for you to pick it up. "A bunch of tools" is the name of the tool shop, isn't it?

What a great game!!!!

no, what are all those things?

Those are machines that some sail and the other fly ;)

sorry, i misled you while watching Teletubbies reruns(don't do this at home kids!); you're right it's not an island, it's a whole continent! like China but with more water and sharks around and more kangaroos too! :lol_hitti
And many dangerous... snakes, spiders, jellyfish... and so on.
Btw, I'm so lucky not having seen Teletubbies ever (and hope to continue that way).

i would send you the Hazet but i only have 2 PH1 subbies so in case one break i need the other as a spare... :(
:D

Don't listen to him Monte, send it to me!

Oh well. Least they were on the cheap!

what's all this DIN nonsense about?
Yes I cant be bothered to much about COO for them since I already had a few and they have done well. I intend to use them for travel kit and some of them will probably walk away. Price was just right.

DIN is ~ German Institute for Standardization and I presume 3113 is the standard for metric combination spanners.

The carrout looks alot like kobalt...

sure might... Gillet Outillage makes them for *everybody* but Caillau is the original customer since it was made for their own "Clic" collars! :D

there was a time when Gillet sold the pliers direct for 15€ + VAT instead of the 80-95€ you found it in the shops/catalogs... didn't last long with the OEM buyers! :spit:

anyway, if the "Kobalt" one is marked "Made in France", it comes from Gillet the unsung hero of the collar pliers!

and BTW, Gillet has only AFAIR, *one* level of quality for it's OEM tools, so the cheapest you find is the same as the more expensive one(albeit, finish might differ: blued, chrome, etc.) ask american lockpicker(if my memory doesn't make me look like, erm... the *** that i am:D) what he thinks of his Craftsman branded one! ;)

edit: oh, sorry, you were talking about the Carrouf' stubby... :D
it is a PRC-made parking find sold under the Carrefour hypermarket brand, nothing special.

in insulating heavy duty tools for electrical work since i doubt they have their own forge.

Thanks for the tip!

I will search for this feature in the software I use. I do not use Photoshop since it does not run (natively) on Linux. Or perhaps ease up on unsharp mask. :)

If you didn't find it, you could try Picasa, as cosmik binturong said.

Switch over boys! :lol_hitti

Perhaps I'll give it a try, but preferably on a virtual machine ;)

@TjoFrasse I keep my fingers crossed for Bauhaus, I think they will open, it is just a matter of time.

It's a matter of time, when things ease off in Iceland and the economy gets better they will sure open the store ;)

@Bart - Impressive and still growing Hazet collection. :) I sometimes follow auctions for Hazet on ebay.de and droooooooooool.. and curse them for not shipping to Europe, or worldwide.

Have you asked them?
I sometimes ask them in German for shipping to Spain and they usually answer, in English or German.

OOOOO we need to see more French army stuff. :) I have a French Army Knife and used to have a MAS-36 and 7.5mm French ammo on strippers...

why would you shoot some poor strippers with 7,5x54mm??? not bouncy enough? :lol_hitti

anyway, french army stuff is pretty badly made usually(lowest bidder wins! troufions lose :D) except the weapons and maintenance equipment... see my test thread with the Snap-On tools that are french navy "surpluses" as in "we replaced all those nice american-made tools that were included in the contract for that weapon system by french ones made by Facom in China and with this we can grease a little bit more the barrel of some of our well healed porcine friends...".

i'll see what i can dig! ;)

Euro Gang,

The picture of Super Ego hacksaw caught my eye. It looked very familier. Check out the following photos and see what you think:

The Super Ego...

3M and Lenox models, ca. 1990's...

The frames look 99.9% identical. Only differance is the tension lever/knob. Looks like a case of transatlantic crossbreeding.

I like the name on the Lenox model "HACKMASTER". Now there's a name!
