Thanks for the pics, perhaps you should buy more Magna bit drivers, I cannot find any on ebay. Collectors item soon? :headscrat

@Dykmore : my brother have an American "Magna" set (1/4 bit holder driver + bits) in a plastic blue case. The driver is the same as your exepting a longer shaft. I always considered this brand, very solid handle, good quality.

All I could find on ebay was one seller in the UK offering plenty of Magna bits "made in usa". And few in the US offering few items mostly sets, probably old stock. One of them states: "MAGNA INDUSTRIAL is made by BOSCH MADE IN THE USA" (Item number:300560299959)

So BOSCH seems to have something to do with Magna. Found one set with this type of bit driver, presumably with Bosch bits.

Item number:110716671989

Dunno, this might be interesting deal to someone:

never heard of Rocol, but thanks for the link, they even have dealers here
Nice Schröder you have there. Today I paid the same amount for wiha stubby bitdriver at local hardware store and I think I got off easy. Not the one with the bitholder in the handle, just regular one.

BTW: The Rocol stuff I use is not oil but grease and comes in a 500Gr can. I cannot find link on Rocol website for the can. I am not sure but I think the grease works better for drilling. And a can like that lasts for years for me.

I doubt I could find a single machinist over here that does not use this Rocol. I have often wondered about what is in this stuff, I have tried motor oil, ATF, regular grease, molly grease and these do not do much if you are drilling mild steel.

What brand do you use, I am pretty sure you got something similar. :)

I bought these screwdrivers in Tesco sale (Monte, hi again :D ) for 3Eur... Although the package should contain 6 pieces, there were only four of them  but it was the very last set there, so I didn't mind - for that price... Like all Stanley stuff, it looks like from the Old world, I thought it's from China, but at home I found some blah-blah about Made in USA with "global materials" on the back side...
And I bought this stubby bit driver too. It was little (the truth is: VERY) overpriced, but the thing I like from the first time is that any bit inside has absolute no play  and the main reason for the buy is: IT'S TRANSPARENT!!! :bounce:
I know that all the things I posted now are from the New world. I'm sorry :bowdown:but I like them so!
Good Stanley tools for a nice prices
Congratulations!

Nice West Germany Wiha driver how old a driver?

Some recent flea-market finds (excl. Kamasa ratchets and sidecutters)
Handles for various project
Flex-head ratchets from Kamasa Tools. Theres not too much Kamasa on this thread.
E. A. Berg sidecutters are still in good condition. 1964 marking on these, dunno are those made back then.
Old tools collector?
Nice:beer:

my new knipex
:drool::drool:

Thanks!
Not sure I understood correctly but:
My planned use is for stuck fasteners. I make a groove with a small rotary tool (my Proxxon :) ) hammer this in and get torque with a wrench to the hex bolster.
Thanks:beer:

:)
don´t know....Belzer is too old i think ... There was no internet when Belzer existed :D
if the package say spain maybe its spain , if not then its Argentinia i think. but maybe spain if the package say so :) You also could buy the Facom wrenches but where are they made ? Taiwan maybe ? France ? Italy ? dunno... So maybe i would buy Belzer....if you like them :)
over here i´ve seen them for 61€ but this includes 19% sales tax
http://www.werkzeugfachmarkt.de/oxi...uessel.-100M//anid/839442d44d2c8f426.12704350
in the Bahco online catalog i can´t find them , maybe they´re discontinued ? (or i am blind :D)
here the online catalog:

BELZER (Germany/Argentina/Spain) vs FACOM (France/Italy/Taiwan) = I am agree with you, I go for BELZER:rocker:
You are the best friend to asked about Old World Tools:)
Btw: Nice "Top Craft" ratcheting screwdriver and bits + a good pics:drool:
thank! again buddy:beer:

I took more pictures of my father's tools today evening, and here are some interesting ones:
1) Old punch, made by OPP ROKYCANY (Czechoslovakia).
2) Stanley Thrifty 400 flat screwdriver, made in England.
3) Side-cutting pliers, age unknown, made by unknown manufacturer, but they seem to be a very high quality product. There is some unreadable logo on one side (visible on the second photo).
4) And the old cable stripper, made by Gosmet Bydgoszcz (Poland,
Nice tools bro

Long gone? Very much so. At least it looks like they did quality work!

Interesting design as well. What are the ends for? At first glance, it appeared to be a tap, but it looks like it carries all the tooth sizes that the sides have. Maybe for an application where you don't have much room to work?

The ends are the same pitch as the corresponding file face (you are correct on that one). I use them to check the pitch of the tread before I start hacking into it to make sure I dont damage the thread of the bolt, stud or whatever I'm trying to clean up.

@Precision tools : I've never heard for the brand "Fillon" Paris, but a short google search makes me think this brand still exists.

@mrtools : Congratulations, nice Sunglag purchase  Interresting design, both handle and the oversized shaft diameter are quite unusual. I like the way this brand make their tools

There are many pullers/extractors brands in Germany. I don' t know for all, but Buco, Kukko, and Gedore's pullers are in the same league:thumbup:

maybe once a year it is
the other 364 days its the shittiest tool store :D

The tools they sell here at Aldi are definately not Old World. :(

but why not ? The store is from the old world :D

15.- for a bit holder ? hmmm luckily i live in germany :D :D ;) ;)

Just looked around the Rocol site, their stuff is not cheap :):(
Actually i use motor + ****** fluid :D whatever is left in the can after a motor oil or ****** fluid change i´ll pour it into my "cutting fluid" can :) ...hey it´s for free... :D yeah i´m greedy when it comes to consumables :D
But i definitely will check into something better after i bought better drill bits, to protect them and to make them live longer.

Also theres the wood drill bits(pricier than Colt though...) Sears also has an extensive amount of Swiss products when you count all the saw blades, theres a few heat guns, some step drill bits and something else I think.

one more for the collection:

It's from Amazon UK. Free shipping to D also I think.

Thanks!

A update of the PH2 collection please!

Where did you get that from? i´ve never seen that pretty case before...

Another maybe stupid question: how do you do too upload soo big pictures and not only tumbnails?

I got it here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003MUJ6LY/?tag=atomicindustr-21
but when I ordered it was £15 only. Prices change quite often on amazon. Free shipping to sweden on orders over £25.

My images are not uploaded as attachments, I upload them to a separate server (I have bought a domain and virtual server from a provider). I upload the servers there and add them to the message. You probably has some storage space from your ISP to do the same if you want to.
