You just never get sick of looking at those NWS pliers...The designer of them is a genius. :)

Veeeeeeeryyyyyy nice mrtools.

Thanksssssss!!! buddy:)

@mrtools : How do you consider your new NWS conbination pliers comparing to your old Merry N°1050 you presented a few weeks ago ?
PS : Are you "mrwrencheq" from Handtoolsgarage.com ?:)

Both have their own advantages...It hard to say which one is best of the best:bounce::bounce:
honestly I like both:beer:
NWS - with beauty and the beast looks, more comfortable handle than Merry , a sharp cutting edge and a good grip too:thumbup: but when I am strongly hold a handle to gripped a work piece it sign a little bit spring action.(hold the handle very very hard):wtf:

Merry - Decent looks, regular handle, decent cutting performances,:( long lasting built, solid handle gripped no sign of spring action even push it hard:thumbup:
* i just my owned opinion:)
times to Merry get to rest:D and handover their jobs to NWS:bounce:
If I have a opportunity I need to test a KEIBA pliers:D

Plier heads and handle PICS of my old Merry + NWS for comparison:)

"mrwrencheq" from Handtoolsgarage.com ?
:headscrat:headscrat:)

You asked for it:
3 shipments at once:
Stahlwille, Wright and Hazet wrenches, all about the same size - beam thickness. All very comfy, Wright is the beefiest.
Congratulation buddy you always comes with very very nice tools:thumbup:

Thanks, I'll try to get more pics/video up soon!
Great NWS! I more and more get a feeling that I soon will be spending too much €€€ on changing my plier setup from Knipex to NWS. Those look awesome!
Get it and I am very sure you will love it:thumbup::thumbup::drool:

few more tools i acquired, these were really cheap
Unior VDE screwdriver, which was 1.20 off of ebay :bounce:
Nice shopping:thumbup:

Plenty of nice tool pics here as always, thanks guys!
More pics:
Ebay haul from Germany, used pipe wrenches, and my 3/8 facom rat for size reference
These will be used as "last resort" - and not for plumbing. As such they will see abuse and their jaws will be chewing on harder surfaces. For such use I find cheaper pipe wrenches -more or less -useless. Shipping manifest said 11.5kg for both.

Awesome giant:drool::drool:

@Bhae
Very nice Makita power tools where it made?

Well since Bhae posted his, here is my Acesa
PH3 and PH2
Nice:drool:
What your opinion about your Acesa screwdrivers?

Kukko screw extractor set.
Koch Bohrer drill bits:thumbup:
nice:drool:
How much $$ Kukko screw extractor set?

I know what you mean, i had the same feeling first time i've handle this plier. The NWS is made from a regular tool steel, more flexible. Your Merry is likely from a harder Chrome-Vandium steel or it's just a question of hardening process:headscrat

nice:drool:How much $$ Kukko screw extractor set?

EUR 89,- (including taxes and ship.)

Thanks buddy:beer: Where have you been ? Any new tools ?:)

It's a special magnetic remover for tappets! :)

Image0068.jpg

that's cool :D think i could find a use for that, i can recall times that it would have been handy (plus the handle looks cool)

Nice Ko-ken stuff. Those universals are the newly designed ball-joint type too.

Do you have Ko-ken dealers in Iceland, or were they purchased from the UK?

And I can spot a pair of Japanese made pliers. Care to show us? :D

Something I did over the winter and never posted it:

An alignment punch with a Wera grip handle.

Here are pictures of Asahi Light Tool Double boxend wrenches 10mm to 19mm...

I stopped using these ones after LOF1417 flexed on 14mm bolt...
They are my hobby tools so its ok...

and instant coffee from Thailand.

@AutomatiquE: KTC AVSA-064 is made in Japan but OTC 09228-06500-02 is made in U.S.A. For some odd reason CND Toyota dealers dont sell/carry OTC cups... I like OTC ones better than KTC.
KTC cup filter wrenches, they are chromed aluminium.

^^Thanks. i've got only one oil filter cup tool. It's for my Peugeot:)
The cup in question is branded Hazet and iirc it's made from a metal sheet. Not a casted aluminium like OTC/KTC.

Mmm. The hat. The hat. Where can I get the hat?

Normally I don't like to wear commercial hats - why should I provide free advertising for them? But Knipes is sufficiently obscure here in the states that I could justify it...
Emailed them asking about Orbis, then asked for a catalog.

Love the looks of those Wera sockets... Perfect knurling.
Agreed, on to the 3/8 set next...

@kissmeimgerman : Nice Wera:thumbup:
Thanks:thumbup:

Congratulation for your new tools:beer:

Hi everybody! I don't have much time to post here during the reconstruction of my flat, and I still didn't take more pictures of my Old world demolition tools :) but tomorrow I will take some, I swear... Now I have only photo of one-of-many daddy's voltage testers - made in Czechoslovakia about 1990 by Eleco Vyškov (http://www.eleco.cz/):

180820112590.jpg

And I have a question: Some time ago I bought these 200mm combi-pliers in OBI, but I didn't like them and I borrowed them to my brother. Today I asked him to gave the pliers back to me, because - as I read here - many people would change a part of their body for any NWS product :bounce: So, my question is: are these combination pliers made by NWS? Because if yes, I will change my mind and from now I will like them as much as I hated them before :lol_hitti

So, Hazet experts, anybody seen this one before?

Actually, it's a custom. Used a Wright 14" long 1/4" extension and fellow GJ member gj67stang putt hat in the handle of a broken Hazet screwdriver I had. Seems to have worked out great. I can use either the hex bolster or the 1/4" female end.

Stahlwille has one like that with 1/4" sq. drive in the end of the handle, no hex bolster though

Glad somebody caught that joke, I thought it would draw a few comments :) I was really glad to get some Stahls with the old markings.

yeah those old Stahlwilles are nice ! But your Hazets are nice too :) ;)

Yeah, I have the Hazet version from the Smart Case also, but neither those are 14" long. :)

Yep, I like both. The Stahls are double box SAE.
