@Monte : Great pics and thanks again

no problem ! More pics below :D

I have been in Sancti Petri (Chiclana) (CADIZ) [SPAIN]

In this beach:

in this HOTEL:

WOW what a nice place !!!!!

But no tools ?? :(
:D :D

There were many German people in the Hotel :)

I´m sorry for you
:D

Monte: Thanks for the pictures! No problems running around photographing at the fair? I'm guessing you don't have a press pass.

No i don´t have a pass. I just take photos and then ALWAYS someone comes and say: "i can give you a catalog so you don´t need to take photos". Then i say "Don´t worry i´m not from China" :D Then i take some more pics and a catalog and sometimes they ask why i take pics so i say for the internet and because it´s my hobby so they then look strange because tool hobbyist is a unknown species it seems :)

Monte, if you don't mind me asking, what is your job? :)

You have the most amazing tool collection and an unrivalled knowledge, not to mention the abilty to find anything we ask about, but so far i've never heard what you do for a living. :)

right now i work in a candy factory :)

I don't believe he needs any press pass. Everybody knows him :)

lol that would be nice :)

Knowing Monte it's probably him that arranges these events!

maybe in the future :D ;) A event with Montes tools :D

He arrives with his entourage and the groupies go wild! :D

tool groupies  don´t exist right now but hopefully in the future :D if not i will become a musician :D

Well, he IS the Toolminator. Ain't nobody stopping him.

As long as i have better tools than Skynet .... :);)

thanks monte. i like oversized methods to do a job, but i guess this would be a little bit over the top. only want to cut some small 5 - 25 cm sheets to extend the case of my personal computer.

I worked for a while for a company called Buyagift, packing envelopes as a temp gob. Everyone i tell that think it must've been a terrible job. It was actually one of the best jobs i've ever had, because there were a lot of us there and it was a great atmosphere. Still one of the best job i've ever had, i loved it! :)

I'm interested too, as i want to put aluminium sheets in my toolbox drawers to rivet socket rails to. :headscrat

An excellent idea! Danke, Werkzeugmann!

You need to work at Mont Blanc soon and get me some of those Meisterstucks. :)

right now i work in a candy factory :)

How interesting. Here in my county in Vienna(how European does that sound :D) we have a factory that makes top quality Swiss chocolate. :)

http://www.holls.com/

Holl's is a master of the fine art of great chocolate. We are an artisan chocolatier, trained in traditional Swiss methods. We import our raw chocolate straight from the land of the Alps, and hand-craft our chocolate truffles and confections in small batches to ensure freshness.

You might want to have a look at the fine print on the Mentos...over here they are made in China. :(

Nope made in Holland.

Buying Chinese tools is one thing, but who is game for Chinese food? Fonterra found that one out the hard way...:(

Who is Fonterra? Also I used to eat these noodles walmart sells called Simply Asian and the noodles had a weird plastic or chemical smell to them. I didn't think anything of it until one day I noticed the chinese COO I had assumed it was US made like most ethnic foods here... :(

Who is Fonterra?

http://www.fonterra.com/

Big NZ dairy company that partnered with a Chinese dairy producer (San Lu) that killed Chinese children with a baby formula they mixed Melamine in with. They were killing kids in their own country but didn't want to recall the product...it beggars belief...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fonterra

Some idiot at your Iams (owned by Procter & Gamble) company did the same thing...the USA is the second biggest dairy producer in the world and some clown there decided to get cheap milk powder imported from China. Of course it was laced with melamine and killed a heap of family pets in the US.

I could not describe the rampage I would go on if some one ruined the life of a family member or even a pet, just to save a buck.

Monte, great photos as ever :) I'm sure I have some of those Stanley screwdrivers under another branding, but I can't remember who!

I have to point out my great appreciation to NWS. After I snapped the tip off my pliers pulling an r-clip out I bought another set, but thought I'd drop an email to NWS about it anyway. Customer services in Germany forwarded my email to their UK dealer, who asked for my address, and today this turned up :)
