V!
Yeah, design (no hole in the base) and finish (shinier) is changed.
I'm really fond of the Wera handle design. And the chiseldrivers are neat. It's also my OCD that makes me love having complete matching setsHence all the Bahco S-line stuff also
I'm terrified of testing PB-swiss and liking them more, then having to change everything out

Btw, i can remenber one of your good review about your brand new NWS pliers. You noticed handles having a spring action when handling them hard.
Today i talked to a Knipex sales rep. He confirmed me that knipex pliers are completly hardened, handles + heads !
He also told me that NWS pliers only have heads hardened not handles. That's why they give this spring feeling and not as i thought because of a different kind of steel.

thnaks for the welcome mrtools! had the chance to sample some modern medical facilities and the assorted medieval practices, then got more than a month and a half of forced countryside vacation: no bike, almost no internet and no fooling around with tools...
cosmik's crappy pics we'll be back next month or so i hope!
(my girlfriend got me a nice second hand Stahlwille Rollbox though, but please keep quiet about it, eh! it's her Christmas surprise for me!)
(got some NOS Hawera stuff for the Bosch cordless drill while getting out of the hospital, so it might have been worth it methinks)

My favorite is the waterpump pliers. I also like the universal pliers, they're well made and the design is very effective. Also the good feature is they always open/close flawlessly : easy to manipulate with only one hand.
I wouldn't recommande the front side pliers, they're not made from vanadium then i find them too fragile to cut very hard steel or piano. Knipex have a better high leverage front side cutter.
Hmm if only it was Swiss...
Too bad this was all the tools it came with...
Meanwhile in America he plays with it for a minute says he doesn't want it and would like legos instead... So I have a new drill bit holder.![]()
Of cause it work!! and It one of my favorite pliers![]()
Thanks for your compliment about Smart case + foam![]()
It looks very tough in the catalog pics, a ideal thickness of socket set case. I'm guess something about 2- 2.5mm but when I got it a thickness not satisfied my desired..
Btw:thanks for the catalog pics![]()
