Yep...No box joint though. Euro stuff may still have it over them in the long term I'd say. Only time will tell.

best Facom wrench design so far

Yep, typical 70's- 80's Facom

Wow a German that doesn't drink. I like "eau minérale" too. :) Germany makes a nice one called Gerolsteiner but I haven't had any since before I joined here.

:)
We always buy the cheap water from Aldi , 19 cent for 1,5 liter :)
hmm red bull cola ? Don´t like it but the price is good 75 cents ? More expensive over here...
The water in the first pic on the left looks like some expensive water from Norway or so ?
ps: You should try german made Coca-Cola :)

some tool content:
The water manufacturer "Rhodius" and the abrasive tools manufacturer "Rhodius" are run by brothers.
www.rhodius.de

Mora is original manufactrurer for Bahco knifes.
http://www.moraofsweden.se/index.php?cid=&id=414&ssel=&lng=2

 yup made in Sweden

Mora knife is traditional knife, I think most people in norden countrys have cut them self first time as children, with Mora knife.

Wow 19 cents for water! Thats a great price. I never looked at what water US Aldi has probably cheap stuff(most of their drinks are...) Red Bull was bought on sale $0.75 for a can $10 for a case of the smaller cans. It used to be $1.75 for large can and $1-1.35 for smaller can when it was being stocked by most gas stations or Krogers. I got all the Red Bull I could when it was on clearance at Big Lots or Ollies. :) The water in first pic is Voss the expensive water from Norway as you guessed. I have been drinking it since 2009 and it used to be really expensive. Like $2.35ish for a plastic bottle but I've found the large glass bottles at TJ Maxx for $2.49(used to be like $6 but thats just what I read online long ago.)

Water from a tool manufacturer sounds cool. :)

Can't get German coke here just Mexican(which is highly regarded as its made with sugar.)

Interesting tools !! Do you have a pic of the tool board/wall with all the special tools ?

Being that the dealer is small and has only been open about two weeks, they don't have that many special tool boards up, and most are far from full.

Here is their engine/fuel tools board:

Image0490.jpg

Today was my last day working there (boo!) but i have to go back to collect some tools i ordered from them soon. I'll get more pics then.

Another tool from the old world, VW injector pump/cam pulley puller:

Image0488.jpg

It's really nicely made. And it should be for 80+ Euros!

wish the volvo dealership i worked in was as organized with the tools... (they used to be but in there infinite wisdom they moved the boards to a inaccesable place, and the tools are now just piled up in boxes  this was before i started there though)

I need to get a couple of the more commonly used ones for myself i think, as they are needed for a lot of jobs

seems the coo varies a lot on them, mostly Germany/Sweden but some japan, etc, and a few made in taiwan.....

Brand new dealership, so it's pretty decent with the organization. :)

There were lots of Swedish and German tools, also lots of Hungarian ones. One from Taiwan. (XC90 handbrake adjustment pliers, made by Klann.)

If you can get the part number of what you're after, any Volvo main dealer should sell to you over the counter. (May be trade only.) If not, shout me and my mate will get them.

I've ordered a removal lever for shift link ball joints. Finally! I've wanted one for ages and never found one before now.

Ontario M9, interestingly enough that company makes proper kitchen knives that are sold in most small hardware shops.

Profas/Uvex nitrile gloves:
www.uvex.de

Uvex rocks. Their products last a long time and are very well made(not disposable after one use like their competitors...)

Heres a pair of their glasses I bought used in 2008 and they are still going(used several times a week.) The lense doesn't scratch or scuff like my 3M ones do. :)

The finish on those Hazets are just super nice.
Yeaahh:rocker:

The flat tyre wrenche is a must have in every tool box, it could be very usefull in many situations:thumbup:. This 500mm Heyco is a good one, not too light (~645 Gr) and very stiff due to its "H" construction. I bought it 2 years ago and I paid Eur 16,- if i remenber correctly. If you're looking for something stronger, try the tyre wrenche with a "S" profile.
Stahlwille make some very good.
Nice:bounce: I don't have any Hazet drivers, but i always considered them:thumbup:
Thanks for your opinions and suggestions:beer:
I think here is a little bit expansive compare as you mention a price is Eur 16.
Get Hazet driver, I'm sure you like it:thumbup:

My GEDORE wrenches :), i love the GEDORE tools :D !
Nice wrenches:drool:
How old your Open-Ended wrenches?

i think you have warranty :D ;)
are you sureee!!
it´s not my car, but the oil change should have be done 1000 KM before, i think (iirc) thats what the on-board computer said.
No continental car ? :) try Audi
My wallet not allow me to get one..here a continental car prices to high around 2 or 3 times compare to local or Japanese car price + government tax:mad: :(
can I know what Audi you owned?

Great comparison PICS:thumbup:
Which one is your favorite?

Picked up these NOS NWS 205mm long combi pliers:
I prefer this old handle design before bought my NWS pliers but I have no choice:lol_hitti
So lucky you live in Germany:thumbup:
You have so many choice:eyecrazy:

I took group photo from NOS Gedore pliers (I spend compleat 8€ for those...), compare to new ones and my mighty Lindströms.
Nice pliers collections:drool: Thanks for the PICS:beer:

This set of screwdrivers is made not in Germany?
Not sure..but I have no complain about the quality:thumbup::thumbup:

ah ok i see ! A new car is a waste of money anyway...
I never owned any Audi, my father buys Audi´s since ever. Currently he owns a 2008 Audi A4 Avant. Before he had the older A4 Avant version , prior to that a Audi 100 2.8 ("C4" model) sedan, prior to that a Audi 100 Avant (C3) prior to that a Audi 100 Avant (C2) and prior to that i can´t remember because i wasn´t born yet :D :) I think a VW Käfer (bug).
What car do you have ? Proton ? Perodua ?

Old stuff right! awesome:thumbup:
now it difficult to get a "Made in Japan" Power tools many of them comes from China:mad:

yes their recip saws are all from china now.....

but thanks Got I get my NWS too:pimpflash

Sometimes you still can see old handles but you can´t get a complete collection of old handles anymore. Sometimes you see the old black/yellow ones too.
I don´t know if i should be lucky, here it´s cold right now you still have 25 degrees celsius i guess :)

:D

Tools after action? Did an oil change on the 993 this weekend, and here was a pile of stuff that I used.

the flex head ratchet somehow don´t fit into that pic though ;)

Variety is the spice of life. Long handle, flex head Snap On - pretty nice piece. :) But yeah, mostly Hazet used there :) There is also a Beta socket, cheapo stuff and Gorilla Bar.

How's the Hazet stuff feels compared to the Snap-ons? I do this procedure once in a while and my newly-to-me acquired Snap-on are a pleasure to use compared to the Craftsman and HF stuff I had.

I don't have anything directly comparable. Both are top quality, IMO. I like the Hazet finish much better than SO. The chrome is easy to clean, but slippery and not as attractive to me. The soft handles on the Hazets are also harder to clean, but just a little degreaser and they are good to go; More comfortable if you are using them all day, though.

Plus the baby blue color is cute :lol_hitti

thats the Taiwanese one i saw, and a long reach olfa xl knife (not sure what its purpose is) from japan with a volvo part number stuck on :p

I'll need to ask the parts department if they can order me a few first sure they will tbh but if not i'll give you a shout :)
