Very cool, I love Barber. I have been several times and have Barber tags on both pcars. Is that also a Facom cantilever box on the ground in front of the Assistent?

Yeah, Barber is like Disneyland for gearheads. Good eye on the Facom, not sure if that is what it is, I looked at the pic again but can't tell. I was too excited about seeing the Norton K Schwantz was riding and then seeing the Assistent. Sensory overload!

The circular saw is Swiss made??? I must have one. :) Link please. :) It used to be made in USA before I started buying Bosch. I noticed the USA COO on a display box at Fastenal back when I got my grinder there. :)

Both new GKS models are "Made in Switzerland"
http://www.bosch-professional.com/gb/en/ocs/tools/104655/hand-held-circular-saws/

the new GKT plunge saw is made in Germany (by Mafell).

I don´t know if the saws will be available in the US or how the model # will be ...

I am thinking of buying a caliper. What brand advise?

3-M dust masks/respirators. NOK 99. Surprised to see they are made in the UK. But hey, now more UK'ers can take their car to Moose's shop so he can buy more tools to show us.

Edit: Added extra picture.

Anyways its like you take a step back into the previous century as they have a lot of old inventory(I seen something dated 1970 for sale there...)

Its a great source of NOS tools.

After a long time trying to get one, i finally got a printed Klann catalogue! :D

Image0554.jpg

(Actually, i got two!)

Was at a trade expo today, and Klann had a small stand there, unfortunately nothing to buy. There was very little for sale in the whole place. :(

i think 220 is the list price, maybe a shop will give you a rebate ? Or you could look out for the older Metabo models which are offered cheaper.

nice store !!! Snag up all those USA items as long as they´re available :)

ahhh Tsingtao ! Founded by germans :)

where is the coo?:headscrat

south africa or Brazil

Stubby version. The ratcheting is not very smooth. At least is stiffer than the previous version with Taiwanese mechanism. The same goes for other sizes. I think there is a very good review of Monte between the two versions.

nice (comparison) pics !
The ratcheting indeed is rougher compared to all other wrenches, but it also feels "Stronger" somehow. In a recent Gearwrench thread someone showed a pic of the package which said that the Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches are "Precision tools not intended to free frozen fasteners" (or so) but the Gedores feels like they can do that :)

I got myself a early birthday present :)

happy birthday

Sure. :) I can shoot on my front porch, in the front yard or the woods(except this time of the year as all my neighbours are out hunting.) Also I have access to the range owned by Dupont as my dad retired from there but I only visit it maybe once a year.

The non-reversible ones that are made in China are manufactured with poor tolerances. The mechanism has a lot of unneccessary play in them and that's likely a big contributor to lock-ups. The Taiwanese ones are better, especially the ones made by Kabo. The mechanism has less play and little backlash.

That Gedore adjustable wrench has a sort of unpleasant aesthetic design to it....IMO. I couldn't see that getting approved past the design department at the German headquarters.
I don't mean to flak on your tool, Lok, just my observation. :D

@JandJauto,

Nice picture, and I like how you differentiate your tools from the rest of your coworkers. ...assuming you're working in a shop of some kind.
