Oh realy ?! Didn't know that, thanks.

...at least that´s what their website says :)
http://klingspor.de/html/index.php?site=7_59&lng=en&sLanguage=English

Thanks:thumbup:. According to "Cosmik Binturong", the best ever Facom's driver serie:)

he must know :D

I thought Facom quit with aeronotical tools, thanks for info:beer:
ps : Funny "Fluo" tools:bounce:

Congratulation for this hammer Monte, i like the hammered finish paint:thumbup: Picard is definatly one of my favorite brand ! Btw, what's this on head's faces ? A special finish or a kind of reflection due to the light ?

yeah hammered paint is very nice  :thumbup:
yes it´s just a reflection of the light and the reflection of the peg board of the work bench

Looks like this with a reflection of the camera lens: :)

nice Messerschmidt chisels !

Perhaps I should get into wood carving as a way to fund me buying those tools... :)

That´s a brilliant idea !

I still prefer Bosch 1590EVSK over their Trion but the other tools are awesome. A neat thing about there is if you ask an employee about a Festool they will take you in the back room and let you try it. :) I've played with their drill and barrel grip jigsaw before.

So how dou you like the Festool "C" series drill ? The parts fitment, rubber/plastic fitment, innovation and quality ? Compared to Bosch for example ?

German food tool :)

nice Miele !
The 2 screwdrivers and the plier on the cutting board look good too :)

Is this kit available in the US market? Where is this manufactured?

Thanks

Couldn´t find it on the US website but i guess it will be available one day. Made in PRC
here a video about the driver:

here a vid about the set:

here a Metabo cordless drill driving a 800mm screw :)

SKG "Easy Force" screwdriver set

I have their multi Phillips/Pozidrive screwdriver - does PH and PZ#1-3, seems to do the job. :) [wonders where it is]

Wera has something similar now too, but with 1/4" square drive

Koken so something similar too, but only with a 1/4" nut driver - I think there was a picture of it waaaaaay back around the beginning of this thread.

I love the Festool drills. Its superior to my Bosch in every way. I wish they made a 18V drill/driver with a Rohm chuck.

Also my pics may have been a bad idea... I went back to day to buy something I seen in them and a salesman showed me a USA made table saw I'm wanting now(Its like $3300...)

Monte,

Thanks for the correction regarding Facom's continued involvement with the aeronautical industry. I was going by what I remembered to be written on the 2007 Factory Gear magazine. It's interesting to note that Proto seems to supply Facom's spline-drive tools though.

Monte and Automatique,

Beautiful hammers!

It was pure pleasure all 470 pages although it took some time ;) I don't work on big trucks, however I do work on big diesel engines along with all other equipment onboard as I am working on a oil tanker. :)

Very nice. :)

.
Wao .Congratulations! P.Tools

Thanks guys...

nice Miele !
The 2 screwdrivers and the plier on the cutting board look good too :)

I thought you would pick that up...Felo & NWS (and Jetbeam)...:) Should I put the cutting board in the "tools from downunder" section?

Nice kitchen equipment, smart investment ! My father owns 2 Miele machines, 15 years old. Still work like a charm:thumbup:

My Miele laundry machine is nearly 10 years - no problems. Only problem is that I cant wait for stuff to fail so I can replace it with Miele! I have moved houses a few times in the last few years...I hate leaving this stuff behind in kitchens.

Yeah, that's the one, I have it too. :) At the moment I am trying to control my Koken addiction - I have three 1/4" sets, and will shortly downsize to one. Nice ratchet adaptor BTW!

I htink I prefer the square drive to the hex drives of SKG, as you can use attachments other than the specific SKG one.

just came back from the Metabo dealer: The kit case says "Assembled in Germany with products from CN"

The only 10.8 Volt tool not "imported":

What else did you order from Hoffmann ?? :D

I love the Festool drills. Its superior to my Bosch in every way.

:D

I wish they made a 18V drill/driver with a Rohm chuck.

strange in most countries they offer a 18 Volt tool....
i think the chucks are from Röhm, if you look at this "FastFix" chuck from the Festool subsidiary "Protool" you can see the Röhm name so i think the other chucks are from Röhm too.

maybe they discontinued their own Facom spline tools (?) and adopted the Proto tools instead ?

I choose these from numbers, specially 1.5Ah and 105Nm.
Bosch 10.8 serries are good and smaler in size, but 1.3Ah made me buy Metabo. Only drawback is that these are made made in China. 220€ from this set.

Impact screwdriver:
Idle revolution : 0 - 2.300 /min
Maximum impact rate : 3.000 /min
Maximum torque : 105 Nm
Bit retainer Hexagon recess : 1/4" (6.35 mm)
Weight (including battery pack) : 1 kg

Cordles drill/screwdriver
Maximum torque ( Soft / Hard ) : 14 / 28 Nm
Adjustable torque : 1,5 - 3,5 Nm
Drill diameter in ( Steel / Wood ) : 10 / 22 mm
Idle revolutions 0 - 350 / 0 - 1.300 /min
Drill spindle thread 1/2" -20 UNF
Chuck adapter 1 - 10 mm
Weight (including battery pack) : 0,9 kg

To early to say... The last film I got about DDR was pretty good.

oooohhhh me want....never saw them with the "Made in Germany" on the tool over here :(

They got one left so you could have them ship it to you. :)

Haha no its for my brother in law. Hopefully he lets me get more detailed pics of it on dec 25th. They don't work as well as German made Brauns(I've used both) but Norelco is so much more artistic. :)

*Waves hand* - 'That is not the tool you are looking for'

*Waves hand yet again* - 'You must ship the tool to north'

Aaaaanyhow. How much are those in the shops? I'm having a hard time finding it for a 'good' price on ebay..

It was $30ish. If it was less it would have came home with me. I've cut back on buying tools I don't actually use unless they are cheap... :lol_hitti

nice wera screwdriver how did you get German made ones, I would love to get my hands on some.

I've been wanting some for a while and when I seen these I just had to have them.

I had no knolage from that SKF lock nut tool, being made in Finland.

One of my car has these bearing loking nuts with loking sleeves in fron axels, I had to use two meter rod, heat and impact to get one opend, broke two sockets and third one was good after I cut locking sleeves out from nut.
