maybe cheaper to produce in the US instead of Japan or England etc. ? no import tax etc...Speaking of Makita I noticed quite a few tools at Home Despot that were made by Makita are assembled in USA I wonder if they have broght production back here or they had a warehouse full of NOS.
i think they still are the rage ?I'm suprised to see Fenix lights for sale in a shop, I remember those used to be all the rage when I was on CPF a few years ago.

I alternate between Swiss SAKs and multitools and American multitools. When Victorinox or Wenger comes out with something I just have to have I will replace the Wingman. I've done this for over a decade now.

I had no knolage from that SKF lock nut tool, being made in Finland.
One of my car has these bearing loking nuts with loking sleeves in fron axels, I had to use two meter rod, heat and impact to get one opend, broke two sockets and third one was good after I cut locking sleeves out from nut.

Centre punches from Gedore...Wera impact screwdriver set
OT: Found these at a store for €1.- each :
Be careful Monte, people have been banned for less than this...![]()
nice carbide tipped punches !
Any COO on the impact driver ?
Be careful Monte, people have been banned for less than this...![]()
oops Wow awesome find Monte.I consider Ridgid a local brand as its made over in Ohio and it gets a premium used at the pawn shop in town.
Ridgid stuff is made about 45 minutes away from me![]()
PARADISE !!!![]()
...and you said that everything is more expensive in Germany![]()
Hilti protection glasses, made by Uvex.
Yes they are really good, these are just spare but another set have been used for years, just got to love Gedore for the quality and finish, some might complain about finish but I find them very nice and the finish is very practical, their spanners for example have a grip which really works even tho full of oil and the quality is really something! can be used and abused for years, so far I haven't seen any tools that perform as good over years of hard use.
No there is no COO on the impact driver, is Wera manufacturing in Asia or just in several European countries?
If theres no COO its safe to say its made in CZ. All my Wera is German made.![]()
Few years ago, importer of Uvex safety gear told me;
Uvex has refused to take factorys from Italy to China, as they like to keep brand all European, I wonder if this is still true?
Oh, I always tought it was Italian comppany, you learn something every day.
And not only if you use glasses, everyone should use similar eay protektion as partickles can by-bass regular ones. I have made custom to buy new eye protektion every new year, not the cheap ones but good quality ones.
Sorry for bad photo, it so dark up here north this time of year, but you should get the idea... Uvex, used by Ferrari factory, (because I got it from there) Made In Germany it reads on it.
What do you think is better ? Ridgid, Lenox or MK Morse ?
Hopefully the other paradise promised by the church looks like that too

I discovered recently that there are several potentially useful tools... 2x bottle openers fellow, letter opener, T-handle corkscrew...

The seller told me that they are more than 10 years old. Both of them has the 2 level design....I also found some facom No 44 made in france....I didn't ask for the price though because I was afraid that I could not resist.
