Wow!! Fantastic bunch of wrenches you have there!
:thumbup::beer:

Mrtools the pic are fine and your tools very impressive. :drool:
Thanks!!!:beer::beer:

I think the best out there!
Yeahhh it's my favorite wrenches:thumbup:

Similar design (if not the same) with Gedore No-7. Very comfortable! :thumbup:
that right! the most comfortable wrenches I ever used:thumbup:

@bart1
Thanks buddy that what I wanna see, very nice shot with Hazet and NWS :bowdown: :beer:

yeah older models, but not mine :(
the 450N still look "old" click. The 610N has the old look too. It seems only the combi wrenches have the new design.
Maybe it´s cheaper to make the forging die, because the milling machine can make it faster with the newer simpler design ? Or maybe so the wrenches are easier to clean for our american friends ? :D
btw.: :)
I'm agree with you 100% :)

WOW A.W.E.S.O.M.E Stahlwille collection !!!
:bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown:
:thumbup::)

Nice old model STABIL:drool::drool: it' looks more tough and solid than a new one:bowdown:

sweet !! Self made ? :thumbup:
Right! self made using recycle material..:)
don't have a money to buy their holder:D

Facom DE.35A exhaust rubber stretchers.
Helps fit mounting rubbers after exhaust system replacement. Can also be used to remove hub caps
Nice:drool::drool:

Nice:drool: Quality tools do always look cool , even after 20 years of hard use:thumbup:
:thumbup::beer:

My favorites wrenches:beer::drool::thumbup:
me too:beer:

...since we're talking about Facom's special tools :
Facom D115A, tool for removing interior trim:bounce:
You are truly Facom old timer collector:thumbup::thumbup::beer::beer:

Came across this wrench last night as I was cleaning up a work area, any more info pertaining to this brand?

It was essentially 'abandoned,' and so I got the go ahead to take it home!

The front, as you can see in the picture, says ALSTRONG GERMANY. The back of the wrench says, ALSTRONG DIN - 3113.

i have only old Unior No.190 ratchet,My friend has one of the new No.190.1,
looks very good,and has 75 teeth that makes to work as the swiss watch..:)
Unior looks very similar to Gedore with the colors and some tools
here is one pic of the new and old ratchet,the pic is not mine

Yes indeed, it looks like Gedore-20. I think that their mechanism is identical too. The Unior have more tooth though. :)

@americanlockpicker I think Peugeot 206 20 something. there was a mystery wrench thread here on GJ with the same wrench. Love the Coffe maker, but I use a FRENCH press:beer:

Yes, you're right about the hub cap puller, Gedore N°631. Actually, it's a very different tool than the Facom you've just posted. Sorry for the confusion:bowdown:

no problem :D

Lol, yes it looks like a DIY tool, but the price is not DIY at all:D
The handle is from their old Enduro series.

Thats the Facom problem: Tool = DIY / Price = Pro :D ;) j/k ;) hihi

Here's a pic with an even older handle : http://item.rakuten.co.jp/fujimotors-shop/a238/

Looks like they cut up a 1/4" ratchet for that tool :D ;)

Interesting vid I found. :)

The new Bosch jigsaw..... i wonder if it is swiss made since it´s available in China since a couple of month, but it´s not listed on the swiss site and scheduled for january 2012 in germany..... The price says "swiss made" though .... (€205.-)

http://www.bosch-pt.com.cn/papocs-c...en/gw/Jigsaws/131485/GST+25+M/22124/index.htm

But for metal working i would recommend you this or this jig saw anyway :)

Nice old model STABIL:drool::drool: it' looks more tough and solid than a new one:bowdown:

If yours looks used after a while it looks tough + solid too ;)

Right! self made using recycle material..:)
don't have a money to buy their holder:D

:thumbup:
self made is cooler than bought :thumbup:

Thanks Monte, but the tools are for clients :lol:

oooooohhhhhhhhh :( :D

Never heard of this brand...sounds american/english..:)..the wrench looks like it could be from Elora though....

for some reason i just cant get into the handles on the cutters/pliers. they just feel to bulky to me. yet thats my preference.

as for tools-- i need to raid my work box and see what all i have that is actual german made. As i work on 99% german autos. i know i have stahlwillie and hazet allen sockets. heyco and gehawe "L" style allen keys, gedore and dowidat wrenches. Kukko pullers piesler counterhold tools, wiha and wera screw drivers and a few other odds and ends. I never really paid attention to where it was made as long as it was quality.

with that said, i really want an assistant/rollmaster. willing to trade a 911 pinion depth tool for one even up :)

I hope its Swiss made, also I found out the hard way that my 1590 EVSK isn't up to cutting metal when I tried cutting up a sign earlier this year... The saw blade snapped as soon as it hit the metal. :shocking:

Where´s that Bosch made ? :)

Slovenia I think, if it is(some are made in China...) and still on sale Monday I'll most likely get one. :)

USA made? I bought 3 of those a few years ago and they all had big Made in USA/American flag tags on them. :)

Just got my set of Hilti tools today and found out there were made in China?

Not good. :(

Yep, that's why i'm always pissed of when i want to buy one of their "Special tool":rolleyes2

Looks like they cut up a 1/4" ratchet for that tool :D ;)

Actually this (old) one, with the ratchet handle is better made than the one i've posted a few days ago, but unfortunatly it's impossible to find it, even on Ebay.
ps : I've tested the tool yesterday on my car. Works perfect:)

Slovenia I think, if it is(some are made in China...) and still on sale Monday I'll most likely get one. :)

Here are the "tools" I use daily. At lease one of them is from the Old World. I'm a radio journalist.

The Marantz digital recorder is made in Japan.

The mic is made in the USA. The headphones are probably from China. They were cheap and I couldn't find a COO on them.

Ah, hallo! Beta-man, your also here then. ;)

There is a factory promotion going on right now. They are only 120 EUR ex. VAT ($156 ex. sales tax) here in Finland and probably in all of Europe too. AutomatiquE, with luck your local distributor has this promo too, I was told its factory promo so they should.

Loved the Beta tool cabinets. Might get the C24S/7 for my home tools as they are also heavily discounted.

Hello All,

Finally signed up after lurking these forums for months. Actually, this thread was what brought me to the site in the first place and has helped to expand my knowledge of tools.....soooooo informative. Took me a few weeks to read all the posts and I must say that it was time well spent.

Anyway I recently purchased a Beta pulley puller and the quality leaves much to be desired. At it's price point I think that the finish should be flawless. On the fence on whether I should return it.

Second and third pictures show a dent and a chipped looking corner of the leg on the right. Factory flaw?

Which type saw blade ? Maybe the saw blade was guilty for not cutting metal and not the saw :)

After looking at the package it appears I used the right blade(t118B for thick metal) so I don't know. I think I still have the broken blade in my garage so I'll try and find it.

not swiss made ?? :shocking: :bounce: ;) ;)

Well the Swiss made one costs like $1600 last time I checked(2 years ago...) and I only spend that kind of money on guns... :bounce:

noo coo..... Could be eastern europe or asia too...

Might be USA see pics below. :)

Monte how do you rate those bits, are they as good as lets say pbswiss ones?

I like the look of the Impaktor holder but I wonder if there is gonna be a "perfect fit" with my pbswiss bits.

No "Country Of Origin" on them. I would suspect in is Italy or Europe as those desings are so old. New stuff can be made in China.

Funny thing is Hazet has the same exact puller and I thought that the finish and quality on the Beta would be top notch since they seem to come from the same manufacturer that produced the Hazet but boy was I wrong. I will be returning it.

I think it's made by www.buco.de/ or www.kukko.com/
...or made in the house by Hazet (?).
