Oh wow, I used to have a few 91/30 rifles from USSR, didn't know they made those.
91/30 rifles from USSR ? Then see what is for a rifle. This is a grenade launcher. Worn on the trunk.

That romanian light looks interesting. How many quids was it?
Luckily no or it surely would be interesting on holidays with fireworks. Ban on bayonets? That sounds stupid. Yeah, I will use this ancient bayonet to murder somebody beause knives are so hard to get!?Wow I've only seen the bayonets converted to screwdrivers(to comply with out ban on spike bayos...) Also are those live grenades for sale there?
But of course it canjk47 said:That Fiskars shovel also comes as the Gerber NATO shovel, and can be had for $35-$45 in the USA.
Its funny how everything Finnish is about 50% cheaper abroad compared to our domestic pricing. They say bigger market is the reason but if its all made in here and then 90% is exported and sold at 50% it would make sense that the goods that are not exported would be cheaper (bigger market brings the volume that makes the manufacturing cheaper). After all it doesn't cost any more to make those goods that are sold locally. But they are just ripping us off with way bigger margin here.
Today there was a Vintage car market here in Västerås. It was indoors, in the city sports arena. Many car and motorcycle parts, some random vintage stuff and some random ****. There was two sellers that had mostly tools. One of them had a lot of new Taiwan stuff, and all the used stuff in big crates. Anything marked Bahco or Sandvik were expensive, but there was a lot of "Made in Germany" wrenches for 10:- a piece. Grabbed some of those, will post that later.
worthy.@Monte What do you think on the whole made in europe thing? Also I know they have finished radios in stores but this is the first I've seen made in Europe instead of designed there... Also if you know of any still made there I would love to know, I know Philips made some in Austria in the 90s(maybe earlier...) but not sure about now.
But I have something that I am sure you find interesting. My dad bought this this Soviet multitool in late '70s or early '80s from some surplus store.

It's "brother" of the REMS wrench. Distributor said that both made in one factory in Slovenia (or Slovakia). Is it true that REMS wrenches are not true Aryans now?
"Samurai" (COO Japan)
Wrench is real good![]()
Here is an example of such a label "Made in Europe."
Drill. Sparky

Some antidote for my recent Taiwan tool purchases...

Sorry about late reply - I actually don't know what happened to my Hazet socket. I have to call CSI I guess. Many people have had access to the set for many years and still do. One of them must have found frozen bolt or nut somewhere.![]()
Here's an interesting direction lever on a ratcheting wrench, something I've never seen before. Have any of you seen this before in a different brand?
Some new tools from the UK

€6.- ?I kind of regret that I didn't get those NOS pliers. At ~€6 a piece they were not that expensive.

it seems the swedish love their toolsBahco stuff is quite common here, but still expensive. It's almost the only collectible tool brand.
And yes, it is Saltus.
Already looked good on the picture !!!@Monte:
Made in Malaysia, and yes, great quality.

nice drillYesterday I picked up my Bosch GSR 10,8-2-LI it came with a battery charger of course an L-Boxx, flashlight plus an extra battery.

nice score !
For me, today was a day of destruction

it seems screwdrivers and drill bits don´t like ball bearingsAll this destruction was caused trying to remove a wheel bearing...

Bahco is also very expensive here compared to other brands. I have 3 hand tools and they were like $50 USD a piece...![]()
@Monte can you just buy that box? I like the artwork on it.![]()
Says they were made in Germany on the side!
a socket only cost $5.-![]()
available in march
get a Wera catalog, the artwork is on the cover (and it´s for free)
I wonder why is it called a lunch box it doesn't look big enough to hold a sandwich also will they have any bigger boxes?Biltema is super popular in Finland so some are very likely to leak over the border. And I can see Russian tourists in Biltema stores almost every time I go there. Two Biltema wrenches! Must have come in from Finland. Not a great wrench, but fun to see in Russia!
