They are not polished so they are not as nice to handle as say Facom or Stahlwille but not bad at all.
padre-2.jpg

Fit is fine and they are strong. I do not hesitate to link them together. Great workhorses for the price (at least over here).

thanks!,i have one (NOS) its 19-22 and man seems like 22 is 21,ther's no way that you can fit it on the bolt its just too tight...:bounce:

@Monte

I have the TACX T3050 Spider Team. I bought it off ebay (new old stock).

T3050_Spider_Team_338x450_large.jpg

UNIOR and VAR tools look very nice, but both seem to be very hard to find in the USA. GEDORE are much easier to buy. I will eventually buy the case and tools shown below (one at a time).

http://www.srm-consult.de/teeth/bw.buddy.tear.pdf

i'm pretty sure that you can find a dealer for VAR in usa... edit: stand looks much better then VAR,only VAR item that ***** is stand lol

I got few ratches and have try out most of them. I like the desing and grip, it is silent and smooth. that "odd" lever desing works.
Chrome is awesome, it mirror good.

Thing about ratchets is; you have to try them out and find the one that you like and go with it.

Yes i agree. The mirror finish is not of my preference but i like the desing. Also the handle is very nice and of course the color is  I always wanted to have a beta ratchet and never had one. I try it once in a shop but i guess that it was very dry cause it wasn't very smooth or silent as you mention. Beta has a 1/2 dr with swivel head. Maybe some day...

Thanks for the info.

This is better link:

http://www.uniortools.com/product-catalogue

To see their product range.

Yes I know it. Unior has a very good site and the only one that has the Greek language in it.

Currently i have 238 screwdrivers (without nut drivers, bit holders, ratcheting/interchangeable screwdrivers, T-handles, flea market drivers) from Gedore, Hazet, Felo, Wurth, SKG, Facom, PB Swiss, Garant, Witte, Wera, Wiha, Stahlwille, Hafu, Bertool, Wisent, Black + Decker, Proxxon, Anex, Hi-Q, Belzer, Meister, Lux, Bahco, Schröder, Drehmax, Beta, Silberspeer, Forum, Promat, Circum, Wago, Stanley, Connex, Elofort, Format, Athlet, Merox, Paramo, Holex

Ow man. :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

That´s nice !! For which vehicle ?

This is not for a Vehicle. It's for something like this. :pimpflash

olmos_e44_e1.jpg

overpriced...

No doubt aobut PB Swiss quality, but I agree that set is really overpriced! You can buy few sets of various famous manufacturers for same amount.:shocking:

369_H9F.jpg

For example, this is 22eur here.

nice BB unior wrench :rocker::rocker: lol i will adore your unior wrench,i will even pay for shipping!!!! :D

Haha...Thanks! Glad you like it. ;)

ALL unior tools are forged and full made in Slovenia. and stay away from unior screwdrivers, with other unior tools you CANT go wrong. unior tools are underrated and not so known becouse they were never big name like stahlwille, hazet, gedore etc etc but when you buy unior you know that you will have it for looooooooooong time.

edit: all unior wrenches are forged.

Sure, they are not so famous or big brand, but they made big tools also - up to 150 in metric size!:shocking: Hmm....it seems there is a truth. I also heard that Unior screwdrivers does not follow quality of their other tools. Sadly, cause old one made in SFRY still go strong after so many years.

Nice reapir stand! Where are you from? Don't know about VAR, but Unior has distributors on all continents. By the way, you can buy Unior case with bike tools, for much less money.:)

@Jure + Hazet + d.stole
Very nice bicycle tools thanks for the pics :)

Thanks, you're welcome! Hope will be more soon.

Yes I know it. Unior has a very good site and the only one that has the Greek language in it

I think you are right monte, my wife went to bauhaus today. They still had wiha rebrands, but they are on sale. She asked one of the tools guys there. They are slowly getting rid of wiha for wera. Think that since hornbach is a big wiha seller, they are going knipex and wera.

Good to know, maybe i can snag some up for a few bucks !? The handles are nice. "Globus" also sells Wiha (Original)

"top quality hardened alloy tool steel,heat-treated and chrome plated"

that's what VAR says
sounds like stamped and heat treated. Should be ok.

Nice! look like my voltage tester screwdriver but in green version:D
yeah same shape:thumbup:, the green one is a bit smaller though:thumbup:

Any idea where we can buy Var stateside?

Do you always have to remove the front wheel in order to attach the bike to the stand ? Or is a clamp for the frame included ?
How do Tacx compare to stands from www.minoura.jp www.feedbacksports.com or www.velomann.com?

For VAR tools see links above. Gedore unfortunately only has a very limited selection of bike tools. So it seems you need VAR, Park, Tacx, Unior or Pedros anyway.

This is not for a Vehicle. It's for something like this. :pimpflash
ahh a sylvester rocket launcher :D

Very good decision ;)
more pics ? :)

Visit your local "Bauhaus" store :D

Monte, have you seen any of these new Knipex X-Cut diagonal cutters? They've not made it to the USA yet.

73051604k.jpg

http://www.knipex.com/index.php?id=1216&L=1&page=group_detail&parentID=1367&groupID=2035

box-joint design: highest stability with low weight
doubly supported joint axis for heaviest duty
high cutting capacity with very little effort thanks to the optimum coordination of cutting-edge angle and leverage ratio with laterally staggered pivot point
20 % less effort required compared to high-leverage diagonal cutters of the same length
large opening width for thicker cables
cuts precisely, even through fine copper wires
compact, low-weight construction
universally usable, in the assembly, maintenance and production
Chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, forged, oil-hardened

Yes, I can get something similar to the tool kit shown for alot less. If you get each tool on sale or on ebay. That is my plan.

@Monte

Yes, you have to take either the front or rear wheel off, which takes a few seconds. I have a carbon fiber bike and was not keen on the idea of using a clamp system (I don't want to crack the seatpost or frame by clamping it too hard).

- tire inflator from Hazet
- precision screwdriver set from Ironside
- electric screwdriver from Bahco
- and a Helicoil set (M6)

Also got a present from my father in law. Its an old family piece. Hand drill from England with two gears!

i have not yet seen them here. Still too new i guess and also quite expensive.

The last time that i ask for price for the wera 8784 adaptor they told me something about 60 euro. :shocking:
60€ ??? :shocking::wtf: They drank too much Ouzo i guess

Ok maybe is more easy to find a small screwdriver.
Or not.
The Wera dealer who wants to sell you the adaptor for 60 € can get you one for only €25.- :D

@Monte

Well, it was easy. No photos sorry but i will try to describe it to you.

Ι cut the spring to the reversible of my bike collection. After the removing of the bottom plate, a minor bump to this

View media item 20446
was enough to get the internal direction selector out. (I don't know if this think has a name so i gave him one )

View media item 20445
In the photo you can see the small ball. The spring is located in a hole inside the selector. With the selector out 2 coils of the spring protrudes. First i cut one of them end then i cut and the other one. If someone needs more smoothness, can cut more coils and then he can pull the spring out to lengthen it. There is no problem if no coils protrudes because when the mechanism is moving the ball goes in the hole. I put the edge that i cut to the inner side of the hole. The more easy way to put the ball, the spring, and the selector to their position is with a little grease to hold the ball or with a small magnet. The rest are easy now.

There is a noticeable difference before and after. If someone likes the smoothness of a Taiwanese wrench i think that it worth a try.

60€ ??? :shocking::wtf: They drank too much Ouzo i guess

Yes maybe.
I want to believe that he understood something wrong. Another one told me 30 Euros for each. Half price from the first one but probably too much again.

The Wera dealer who wants to sell you the adaptor for 60 € can get you one for only €25.- :D

Yea that's a fair price hah? :bounce:

As a "serviceman" for our house (12 floors) I acquired the keys from a underground room, totally full of mess and junk. I cleaned it a bit and in short time it will be full of tools from the old world ;) so this is my new workshop - ********, isn't it?

I like that CZ (gun) poster :rocker:

I am interested in guns, but my wife didn't want the poster hanging in the bedroom

Great tool cave! Love the combo of Lenin poster and upside-down Keith Haring dog :D

That dog is not only upside-down, I upgraded it a little ;)

070620122810.jpg

hey we need more detailed pictures and with better quality....if you have old things from this cave for sell let me know...;)

Sorry for the picture quality, I am inside the moving process to my new apartment, so I don't know where is my serious camera. But I am afraid there are more tools "from the old world" than "old tools"... From all that junk I filled up this drawer, so if you want it all, it's yours - when I go to Mirandela again, I can take it with me :D

Were is the garbage? I definitely would paid for some of them. :D
