They say the first step to recovery is recognising that you have a problem:
nice huge Facom ratchet collection!!
they all like your clothes right!

no, sometimes i use this ratchet and sometimes the other, depends on my mood
you in your good mood when used the old one..

I think
noooo

Bosch tools here are from germany, switzerland, Malaysia, China and Russia mostly. Depends on the price of the product and the type of the product.
Asian made too
For example all 14,4 and 18 Volt cordless drills and impact drivers are from Malaysia, the competence center for angle grinders and rotary hammers is in germany (with a few cheaper imports), the competence center for sanders and circular saws is in switzerland ( again lower priced tools around 100 to 150 € or so are imported - higher priced tools are swissmade). Power tool companies which solely produce in germany are rare because most companies either produce overseas too or buy tools from outside of germany. 100% Made in Germany is offered by small "exotic" companies like "Duss" or "Baier" but with a very limited offering. The companies who offer more different tools all buy them from around the world, for example "Eibenstock" only produces in germany but they sell tools under their name bought in Bulgaria or "Flex" also only has a factory in germany but sells tools under their name made in Italy, Bulgaria, Korea, Mexico and China for example.
Thanks to explain the real situation power tool in the German market..that a lot of my question have an answers..I thought all power tools sell in your local market made in Germany or at least made in Europe like you mention Switzerland..the advantage is, you have a wide selection depend of your budget from the very good one, average and the bad one

btw: you are so lucky

It's true -they're not just a vague rumour. I had this arrive yesterday (S.151 1/2" drive - older but in virtually new condition):
In comparison to the newer version of the 151-series ratchets, the French version shows much more detail. Here's a side-by-side of an older J.151 3/8" drive with a brand new one:
Thanks!! great comparison pics..the old look more tough than the new one
More goodies today, courtesy of the UK Hot Deals thread:
They're all really nice -great quality and finish. The Wiha suggests made in Germany, but on the sticker only. The Facoms suggest made in Taiwan on the stickers:
