Check out this tote box, has anyone ever seen one of these? (prices are 1961 Canadian)
It's a battery service box, inside the box there's a compartment that holds distilled water. A Hazet dealer I used to go to had one on display, that's about 15 odd years ago. Seemed to cost a pretty penny though from what I remember.
The last paper catalogue I had (2001 or 2002) still had it listed.
Equivalent value would be about $308CAD today from what I can figure.

are you working with giant machine?You right I'm agree with you.. nowadays to many big, good and famous manufacturing company moved or open their plant in Asia other Far-East Countries.They do businessI must admit that I don't know much about Malaysia other than the stereotype that "the weather is good", but you're probably right.
Seriously though, I think the Manufacturing Industry in Europe is now facing it's biggest challenge yet, with many companies also having plants in China and other Far-East Countries.
The company I work for has 2 plants in Europe and one in China and India each, all the know-how and expertise that was built up here during many years of hard work by our employees, from high to low, is being drained to China and India with nothing in return. The same thing with investments, whilst they may spend the odd penny here -but only if they really have to- the real money is being spent there. (Except for the God of Health and Safety, but that's only to limit the managment's liability)
The advantage our people still have is that they can handle the challenging stuff, and that they are masters in finding solutions for every problem they might encounter.
I don't know if you're an engineer in what seems to be the now common used (English) sense of the word, or a "proper" Engineer -as in Monte's link, Dipl.-Ing. in German- but if you're up for it, I welcome you to join us.
they need a profit as big as they can get..the answers is move to Asia, no need to pays more for workers and no need to worried about safety and health issue..but not all the big company do this..thanks God here we still observe safety, health and a good environment policy at work places. btw: thanks for your offer

Got to be Taiwan I would think? The style is similar to the 440 spanners, but these are much larger. It's 21mm brother has arrived today (15, 24, and 27 on the way) - I'll get some comparison pics up.
OK comparison of 32mm 467-series vs 32mm 440-series, and 21mm 467-series(arrived today) vs 22mm 440-series (21mm is in the mail so this will have to do for now). Not only are the 467 much larger, but they're not really I-beam like the 440s, and the finish is more "satin".

LOL same as the other - from FFX. I've mostly bought it for the 12-pt sockets though - I think I'm going to flog the rest. Definitely the ratchet at least as that makes three 1/2" pear-heads now. Interested?
Great choice of spanners there CanUK. The size of 32mm ratchet spanner is absolutely insane! LOL Those four in the picture will probably take the whole drawer to store. Now I know where to go if I need to borrow one of these beasts

New Hazet strap wrench and bit holder. Normally I buy from jensputzier in Germany, but tried somebody else out. Ordered these from Tom at themotoringshop in Florida. He made me a good deal. The strap wrench is the best I have seen. I have one and it is nothing but frustrating and mostly a toy. This one is heavy duty and the poly coated nylon should grip well. The bit holder is nice and a good match for my stubby I have had for some time.

50 tooth if I remember correctly, yeh it's a lot beefier than the other one, still very smooth though.

This made in finland garden tool arrived today and I had to test it out of course. Like it alot sofar. Its very low weight only 550gram and great value for the money but I might consider buying also a bigger model at one time.
What I dont really like about it that is has no hole or something to hang it on the wall.

I've got the hammers (Gedore/Habero clones and made in Germany) and offset screwdrivers (Wiha clones and made in Germany). I've been tempted to order the offset ring spanners, but already have Eloras.
So, what tool brand do you prefer.
How well does those speed wrenches work?
Haven't had a chance to use them in anger but I've tried them on a few fasteners a s a quick test and they seem alright. I figure they'd be useful in a space where "ratcheting" would be helpful, but there may not be room to get a ratcheting ring-end over the fastener. Worst case I've got an extra set of ring-ends
Yeah, I was thinking for situations where you can't get a good grip with your fingers and have limited space. I really dislike the 'move wrench a couple of degrees, flip wrench, move wrench a couple of degrees, flip wrench...' situations.
Now I definitely became the Gedore guy of the forum.

The round beam seemed a little awkward at first but it's non painful for your hand when great torgue is applied. Although I think that it is a little old fashioned design.
The ring is thin enough compared with some other that I see (dowidat and rahsol), and the quality very hight. At least it seems to be.
The price was fairly good especially if we compare it with the, unique admittedly, stahlwille.
