Monte i never heard about "Houben". Manufacture their hand tools or are rebranded? BTW how often this kind of exhibition take place in your city?

Anybody know where USAG 237A 3/4" drive ratchet is made? I'd guess Italy, but there's no COO mark, and it looks quite like a Facom. Picked it up at a pawn shop with a USAG 17 mm hex socket on it. It works beautifully. Very beefy handle, 72 tooth Facom style mechanism. Much finer tooth count than my other large drive ratchets. Looked around the net, don't see much info on any pricing, anybody got an idea on that? Ever use one?

I have the Facom K.152 ratchet which looks very similar and I believe that to be of Italian origin.

After consolidating all my tools to Germany, and picking up couple of tool carts. I have some new problems. I have more room to store tools then I have tools,

These are the 3 tool carts I pick up. Wisent from Bauhaus, and two workforce form aldi. The mid boxes I picked up from sears on sale for 49 dollars each. Now I have 5 tool carts, 2 mid boxes, 1 top box and a craftsman socket box.

I already have a bigger Weller gas iron. I wanted the small heat-shrink nozzle on this for some really fine heat-shrink work I'm doing at the moment.

Not sure on the sizes it can do but it gets damn hot!

I have the same Gedore plastic stubby ratchet, 1/2" dr, light blue. It's a great ratchet, mine is silky smooth after I put some silicone grease in it.

wohoo finally I have internet again - that have been some hard days in the meantime I just bought some cheap hazet stuff (15 euro trolley and their basic screwdriver set), 3m mask, uvex eye protection that you can wear with your glasses on and I absolutly love - way better then these el cheapo versions I had before.

Well, there is one simple solution to that!

My latest purchases:

A Bahco Ergo PH3 and a Sandvik PH4. Got them at the Vintage car market last weekend. For 20:- SEK each I though they were a bargain.

Some Hultafors knives, despite my deep Mora/Frost preference. I had a small lapse in judgement and got these because they were cheap.

Clas Ohlson advertised about a Bahco screwdriver set for 99:- SEK. I thought it would be just some Chinese ones, but went for a look anyways. To my surprise they are made in Spain, so I got a set.

Tools in action. Finally had occasion to photograph a situation where my Facom 40R series "Fast" spanners came in handy.

Disassembling a weight bench - nut on a carriage bolt tucked away in an acute angle where two tubes join. Not enough clearance for the box-end, and a bit fidgety for a standard open-end (although it would have worked). "Fast" open end worked a treat:
