Snap-On![]()
What's "Snap-On"? Is it French or German brand, does it have COO on it?![]()
They are a bottom of the barrel stuff brand made in America (America is that small insignificant country to the west of Europe - Think China but cheaper).
You can tell they are cheap by that nasty bright glarey finish.

Just look at how much nicer the Gedore beside it is. The Gedore really shows it up

Link?
Monte, i think we need a picture with all wrenches next too each other![]()
What would be a good set to complement these two types? Double offset box end wrenches, double open end wrenches, or something else?
nice collection !! What do want to do with the X14 ?It´s perfect.....small and bright.
I have also T7, H7 and a Peli 1920.
Led lenser feels really solid and well built. The T7 is 6 years now and i have used it every day. Not a problem soo far....
Btw. X14 stands on my list

From someone who collects combination wrenches:
Asking which combination wrench is your favorite is like asking which of your children is your favorite.
I don't blame Monte for choosing the Snap-On. Once you've drunk the S/O Koolaid it's hard to go back.![]()
(But for me, S/O rules in ratchets, not combination wrenches).
That said, I don't have a favorite child, but I will say whenever I reach in my toolbox, I always seem to find myself grabbing an old Hazet 600.Too bad I haven't been able to collect a full set yet. They're veeery hard to come by nowadays.

Next on my list would be Stahlwille 14 series open box.![]()

Very cool bike. I had an SV650 for a while - lovely motor.
A few familiar tools in the bag as well - I have the same hammer and the same screwdrivers. How do you like the Facom drivers? I like mine, and the handle shape, but I wish they had the grip of the Wihas.
BTW- the butterfly keychain is outstanding. What's the COO?![]()
Yes, that's right. From this machine and from many others...
Unfortunately shipping only to Germany, Austria.

SV 650! Identical motor! The Facom drivers have great handles, fits to my hands, but i think the tip in not so durable. It's the sand blast tip, not the laser tip.
Have you tried http://myworld.ebay.com/tbs-aachen
They ship outside Germany and prices are top notch.
BTW, still on the original brake pads on the Strom?![]()
I really enjoyed the SV -the motor being the best bit of it. Here it was when I bought it (Mrs on board):
