Awesome tools!!!! Congratulation!!!! I'm very interested with Habero ball pein hammer
where you got it? Any more left at the store/tools shop? I really need at least one :( I know they stop production for this Habero ball pein series, seriously please help if you know where to bought it.

got them from here http://stores.ebay.de/homework-tools/

Price was awesome I paid 25,- for all 3 ball pein. And also the other hammers had a good price tag. But I have to say the ball pein versions either took a bit of a beating in shipping or what I guess they were old stock. They were new but not 1000% new must have been stored for quite I while I think.

Drop me a message when I can help you getting the tools but shipping costs must be a killer for these heavy items.

Where did you get it, and what brand is it?

got it off ebay (like most of my tool purchases since its so much easier to get tools). It has no brand on it and yes it is 100% the same except for the colour

It´s perfect.....small and bright.

I have also T7, H7 and a Peli 1920.

Led lenser feels really solid and well built. The T7 is 6 years now and i have used it every day. Not a problem soo far....:rocker:

Btw. X14 stands on my list

What's "Snap-On"? Is it French or German brand, does it have COO on it? :D

They are a bottom of the barrel brand made in America (America is that small insignificant country to the west of Europe - Think China but cheaper).

You can tell they are cheap by that nasty bright glarey finish.

1lg066vomit.gif

Just look at how much nicer the Gedore beside it is. The Gedore really shows it up.

Two things you need when working with Snap On:

1. Sunglasses for the glare
2. A super strong grip, or grip gloves to hold onto them (They are darn slippy.)

You may notice that the Snap On wrenches are a lot longer as standard. This is to cater for the American market, who tend to be a lot weaker than the rest of the world.

(Note: some of the above may be tongue and cheek)

Santa dropped this off: Carolus combination wrenches, COO unknown. Sizes 6-22, 24, 27, 30, 32.

Carolus flexible combination ratchet wrenches, COO Taiwan. Sizes 8-19.

What would be a good set to complement these two types? Double offset box end wrenches, double open end wrenches, or something else?

I would either go double offset box end or zero offset extra long and skinny - maybe with a flex end on it.

Monte, which one do you like better?

Thanks
the IBS/E...more powerful and you don´t need the voltage transformator.
I guess you want to use it on cars ? Large cars i guess ? :)
However if you need it to work on small cars like "Revell", "AMT", "Hasegawa" etc. then the Micromot works too.

Do you work on cars ? Line wrenches maybe...block wrenches....if not maybe i would add the offset box wrenches

Merry Christmas to me :D part 2: :)

I feel betrayed... the promoter of all tools German actually prefers American... :willy_nil
They paid him ;)
:D:lol:
the wrench looks nice and has a good finish, but don´t worry i still prefer my Hazet, Stahlwille and Gedore wrenches.... :)

I purchased this tool to mark miter 45 lines on square tubes. It looks well built.

From someone who collects combination wrenches:
Asking which combination wrench is your favorite is like asking which of your children is your favorite.

I don't blame Monte for choosing the Snap-On. Once you've drunk the S/O Koolaid it's hard to go back.:pimpflash
(But for me, S/O rules in ratchets, not combination wrenches).

That said, I don't have a favorite child, but I will say whenever I reach in my toolbox, I always seem to find myself grabbing an old Hazet 600. :bounce:Too bad I haven't been able to collect a full set yet. They're veeery hard to come by nowadays.:(

Next on my list would be Stahlwille 14 series open box.

Very cool bike. I had an SV650 for a while - lovely motor.

A few familiar tools in the bag as well - I have the same hammer and the same screwdrivers. How do you like the Facom drivers? I like mine, and the handle shape, but I wish they had the grip of the Wihas.

BTW- the butterfly keychain is outstanding. What's the COO? ;)

SV 650! Identical motor! The Facom drivers have great handles, fits to my hands, but i think the tip in not so durable. It's the sand blast tip, not the laser tip.

Have you tried http://myworld.ebay.com/tbs-aachen
They ship outside Germany and prices are top notch.

BTW, still on the original brake pads on the Strom? :)

I had made some purchases from tbs-aachen, great store, but these prices are awesome

The original pads are the best but here in Greece are very expensive, 160 € for 3 sets. Do you have any suggestions?
