Yes from my dealer. And yes the quality is great. These boxes intended for counter displays (εκθετήρια you know?). I don't know if they sold separately. In the catalog the prices are for the boxes with tools.

You can find almost the same organizer with good quality from plano. I definitely will buy a plano organizer if I find one.

Those Gedore boxes look great! I have Stsnley ones made in Isreal and pretty good quality. I for get the OEM for them.

Before asking here I have done a small research on this topic. I have found that NWS and Gedore are offering small combination pliers, but I was under impression that they are all chrome plated. It appears that NWS is not.

Those are called (flat) nose pliers, they differ from combination pliers. I have just checked Facom catalog again and I could find small combination pliers.

NWS 111-79-ESD-120 (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

Ash over at german-hand-tools sells them for $25.99. I believe these are also made by Schmitz (the rest of the ESD electronics pliers are, which may appear to be chrome, but is actually just polished steel). Schmitz stuff I own is very well made, and offers a very good value.
Thank you for clarification. It appears I was mistaken that they are chrome plated. I have checked Schmitz catalog but could not find combination pliers.
The only small problem is that those NWS pliers are ESD safe which means you cannot work with them on live circuits.

I have Erem that is not chrom plated and Lindstrom is another great choice. Search on this board and check eBay.
I adore Erem, but they only offer flat nose pliers, no combination pliers. Lindstrom is also not offering small combination pliers. Correct me if I am wrong.

Ah, already since December it appears Santa "Hazet" Klaus :)lol:) has made another sortie across the North Sea. You must share with us what you didn't do last year to get a second visit? Do we also see the Knipex elf as well? :bounce: Do post more, please! :)

I wish I got these from a magical old man in red clothes :) My wallet would be much happier then :D

Whats in the red box ? :)

IMG_0150.jpg

No fancy model though, one of the simpler.

IMG_0153.jpg

IMG_0180.jpg

But I hope it will do for me. Still an upgrade so :)

And a "accessory" for the grinders, a 22mm wrench for tightening/loosening wire brushes. Gedore.
IMG_0163.jpg

Chisel hand cover, Carolus.
IMG_0155.jpg

40-100mm internal circlip plier, Gedore Austria.
IMG_0161.jpg

Exhaust rubber bushing hook thing, Hazet.
IMG_0166.jpg

Cobolt 71 32 200 model, Knipex Germany. Was going to buy the 71 02 200 but "mr_jack" review a couple of pages ago made me change my mind.

IMG_0171.jpg

Long reach needle nose pliers, Hazet Germany.

Oh, and I also got a Carolus magnetic spark plug socket and a Gedore 7UR 10mm. But I didn't manage to get any good pictures of those.

Hello everyone! :D I'm the new kid on the block here (so to speak).

This is my very "first post" on this forum and I have to say this that I definitely knew that I had to post my first, here on this thread of "Tools from the old world". I never really looked at tools with such interest! Some of these are so colorful and that's not to say that I'm sure that the quality that they have is at it's highest level.

I've always had tools (KLEIN, VACO, CRAFTSMAN, SNAP-ON, CHANNEL LOCK, HUSKY, etc.) but nothing like these that are posted here! A while back I started thinking about the "quality" that's put into the everyday common tools used (for whatever purpose, electrical, carpentary, machinics, etc.) and this started me on a quest to look outside the U.S. for such tools. Well I'm just now starting out on my own collection of tools from other parts of the world (mainly Europe) and so far I have a few from AMES that I was able to find on Ebay and currently waiting on a couple of phillips screwdrivers from ELORA and IDEAL. I even have a set of JIS tools, HOZAN from Japan and a stripped screw extractor, NEJI-SAURUS ( if these qualify to even be here?). Maybe one of these days I'll have a pretty good collection of tools such as y'all have or at least hope too.

Is there a place here on the forum that one can buy or sell tools such as those that are posted here? If so could someone please direct me to it?

Overall, I'd like to just say, 'THANK YOU' to y'all for posting and sharing photos as well as info on these tools!

Again, thanks! :)

It's not a standard offering, but they do custom orders and NWS may have contracted them to do this.

Wasn't sure if the ESD grips would be an issue as you didn't specify. Unfortunately, NWS doesn't offer an insulated grip on that particular pair, and Schmitz doesn't offer insulated grips on anything in their catalog.

Thanks for the info 'Monte'! :)

I'll look into those sites for sure. As I was kinda just going over the forum I found the 'Classified' section as well.

As for pictures, yes I will post pictures as soon as the ELORA and IDEAL phillips screwdrivers arrive, hopefully by this coming Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, since I just ordered them today (Saturday).
I already have an so called set of AMES tools but let me just warn y'all, my set of European tools is "nothing" compared  to what others have posted here but I'll be working on it! :D

You know you can buy those containers separately? They cost around €1,- per piece.

And if I'm not mistaken, you have the 330x220mm-version. They have bigger versions available and even one that's double height.

I have the same as you (3 to be exact) and use them for bulbs, fuses and such in the car. Bought them for less then €10,- a piece.

wera screwdriver with bit container. Unpacked it and cant say I fell in love with it. I hated it immediatly :D. maybe I will make a quick video about it.
I decided to give it to my mom now so that she dont have to ask me all the time to tighten up a pan handle.

Looks like a motorcycle tyre lever. Good idea with the plastic - I usually have to carry rim protectors or bits of plastic. Any more info on these, please? EDIT: Found them online - thanks for the pic though :)

+ most of the stuff included
+ paid 20 euros so price is ok
- What I forgot to show without the extension the bit sticks only 5mm out so you might have troubles in some areas.
- alot of axial play
- hard black plastic parts on the handle the wera screwdrivers have better comfort although they look the same

You still use those cartridge razors? Have you looked at a real barber's razor. That would make a good addition to your brush.

usually i use a electric shaver.... :) i only bought it for ocassional use... a razor is too dangerous :)

Monte, how much extra do those cost compared to the regular version?
The stainless version cost about 2 to 2.5 times more

"Rostfrei" = Stainless steel:

I got a response the following day and received it a few days later.

Someone else I know submitted a form a few days after me and only got a response at the end of last week apologising for the delay due to high demand.

Cheers - seems I might possibly still be in the running then. Fingers crossed!

The Twingo was only a photo model to take some pics of the Dewalt bit set :)
