very nice german christmas-cake "Stollen" - for sale in my local Aldi-store every christmas, and can be eaten up to 4 months after - will do the the trick as non-slip underlay too, although it may require some cleaning after use
.

i´m not a big fan of the Proxxon or WGB/ISI ratchets.....
maybe i would get the ISI set and a better ratchet....
The ratchets seem to be german made, i dunno about the sockets....the newer WGB sockets seem to be imported, so will be the ISI sockets i guess ....???
"Bench cookies" anti slip work piece holders from Holzkraft
www.holzkraft-maschinen.de
....so i don´t have to clamp down the work piece anymore, it also prevents scratching the (painted) surface and the vibration of the tool doesn´t go from the workpiece into the workbench top so the work piece don´t "wander" around anymore.

I have the same thing in orange that I picked up in the USA. They are very useful actually.
hence the price.... a stick welder with about 150 to 160 amps is on my wishlist but there are so many offerings..... Kemppi, Migatronic, Esab, EWM, Lorch, Rehm, Merkle....
Just got this new wrench from a bidding site!
This is really something i think, because Sandvik bought Bahco in 1991 and then they must have turned to Belzer to make good wrenches.
This collaboration must have been going on for a while but eventually Sandvik sold Bahco to Snap-On in 1999. I'm guessing that this key has been made between those years? Anyone else know more?
Tjena Decaf,
Monte can probably tell you precise when the Belzer production was shut down. I have a few of the Sandvik-Belzer wrenches, and they are top-notch in my opinion.
You can download the original datasheet from here: http://www.datasheetarchive.com/indexer.php?file=Scans-00119968.pdf&dir=Scans-005&keywords=belzer+sandvik&database=user-highscore#

nice + handyI bought myself a gift again
Made in Russia. Micro gas burner. Acetylene + propane / oxygen + propane.

thats about the price of the german welders here... a used one would be ok....so we´ll see.... i heard about cebora but they are rather seldom to see...i´d like to see the product before purchasing and maybe test weld it....i need other stuff before so it´s time to check out all the products. The kemppi is higher priced than others, new model cost even more (remote control option, digital panel) 650-700eur with tax is a lot of you dont need it much. The older model was cheaper and without digital panel it is better for me. The Esab is really good and cheaper, and there is also lot of non brand stick welders? Do you know Cebora welders?
btw. Belzer is still offered today:
(from the 2013 catalog)

So if anybody remembers a while ago I got my new Stahlwille socket set but with no ratchet. I finally got the ratchet around the end of last week.
Here you can see just how much tighter a Stahlwille socket and ratchet fit than a Beta Utensili one. Sadly, the cell phone recording boosts the levels automatically, so it looses some impact, but it is astonishing how smooth the 60-tooth Stahlwille is. When actually using it you barely realize it's ratcheting.
Wow, the whole mechanism move back and forth on the Beta!
Thanks for the video.
To be fair to the Beta, in your hands it's not that bad, the Stahlwille is just a lot better. Putting the ratchet so close to the camera makes the tolerances much more noticeable. If you take any ratchet and look closely you'll see the whole mechanism moves.
Sweet video Marlin!
Does anyone know which German ratchet is the smoothest?
Was having a browse through the catalogue and the smart driver has caught my eye.
Does anyone have anyfeed back on this handle? Does it fit the standard bits and extensions that are meant for impact drivers?
New foam modules arrived yesterday for my 3/8" and 1/4" drawer.
Did you get these empty from Prime Tools? I can't find them on their site, then again I never seem to be able to find anything on there.
I see that they're available from UKtools.com but I'd rather not ever again experience the "customer service" from them bunch of wallies.

Bahco did bought them in 1965, don't worry, I got me covered...

That happened to me too!! I thought they were wooden fork's handles or something like thatYour second photo took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at. When I first saw it all I could see was the wood with the files in the background. I had to look away and come back to see the files first. Ha.

Greeks, what do you think about Unior hammers, because you have a lot of Unior tools in your country?

There are file forms that you did not know to exist, and that is why their old catalog would be amazing to see. there are 24 different models here in table, and with each one got multiple grade and size. there must be thousands and thousands different kind of files made pre 1965.
the "Made in Germany" is missing so they´re not perfectWhat the f**k?![]()

They're insane!
I hope the quality is better than the regular Bahco ... or for that kind of money it better be f****n' perfect.
come on 10.- per wrench that´s 5.- per ratchetNow that's weird. I bought this set - http://www.bahco-werkzeuge.de/products/2625.html - a year and a half ago for 30 euros here in Bulgaria, but it's made in Taiwan and I'm not that impressed of the quality. It's not bad but what can you expect from a 30 euros ratcheting wrenches set![]()
oh no only the real Belzer....Maybe you should buy them anyway, just for the heritage collection,
There were also Belzer pliers made in France...forestry tools too...i´m afraid they are NOS, since i´ve read in swedish newspapers that SNA has moved most of the swedish production to other facilities. Handsaws are now made at the file plant in Portugal. Adjustable wrenches in Spain. Assembly of many tools are now made in Minsk, Russia. What´s left is only raw parts and special forestry tools made in the Edsbyn and Bollnäs facilities, now branded Edsbyn Industrial (since it´s not Bahco (or SNA) core-business. I´ve searched union- (every employee in Sweden is a unionworker, the union "facket" is very strong in sweden) and local papers for information about pliers, but none showed up.
wow didn´t recognize that the Stahlwille fine tooth ratchets look so nice.....i´m gonna buy one nowSo if anybody remembers a while ago I got my new Stahlwille socket set but with no ratchet. I finally got the ratchet around the end of last week.

nice layout !New foam modules arrived yesterday for my 3/8" and 1/4" drawer. A step closer to organising everything, but a bit more work to do. Here's a pic of the drawer now, with most of the duplicates removed. The box at the top right is a rotator ratchet set:
