come on 10.- per wrench that´s 5.- per ratchet :)....you won´t find a better price ! (ok maybe at Aldi :D)

Actually it's 2,5.- per ratchet, cause there are 4 sizes on each wrench. :lol:
3 wrenches - 12 sizes - 8,9,10,11 + 12,13,14,15 + 16,17,18,19.

And I actually got them from the local dealer for Bulgaria. :dunno:

+1 to this, just received a parcel from Felo today. Must buy some Felo stuff soon. I hope the prices are the same here in Denmark, as showed in the pricelist. Btw. i really like use of transperent paper in the thin catalogue, very fancy.

There are file forms that you did not know to exist, and that is why their old catalog would be amazing to see. there are 24 different models here in table, and with each one got multiple grade and size. there must be thousands and thousands different kind of files made pre 1965.

Fantastic collection. I go to lots of fleamarkets in Sweden every summer, must find more Öberg files there. :drool:

Haven't tried it yet, but felt it a bit and it was much softer than all drivers I have used. I also feel a bit that they should have skipped the hole. The softness of the grip is a bit ruined by the hardness of the plastic around the hole. We'll see if I like it more in use.

I had the same thought. On the other hand, a hole for the hook on the wall is practical. I made home-made loops of thick wire to hold my Weras.

There were also Belzer pliers made in France...forestry tools too...
i guess they all are made in spain now too.....

The forestry tools are probably from Edsbyn, Sweden, since they are the specialized forestry division now. So it´s not Belzer, it´s not Bahco, it´s relabelled Edsbyn Industry :lol:
Nice Osram worklight, and made in germany too...i´ve always liked the look of Osram lights, the graphic design with ultra-bold Helvetica type looks good, as a book designer i know that it´s difficult to use such a heayv font without the look becomes too clumpsy and 1970´s-a-like, but the guys at Osram has got the grip! :thumbup:

Btw. Lowest one in picture, you all must own one, since no-one asks about it, that file is spark plug file, with .50 and .70 feeler gauge.

S-shape files are for example intake manifolds cleaning.

I did. I don't think they stock them, which is possibly why they're not specifically listed on the site.

I've browsed the Facom catalogues, got the part numbers for the foam that I'm after, and emailed for a quote. It usually takes a couple days for them to get back to me as I think they're waiting in turn on a response from Facom in France. Likewise, once the order is placed it takes maybe a week or so for them to turn up at my door.

I've not heard good things about UKTools either - I think they list everything whether or not they can actually provide it.

Just a caveat with the Facom foam though -the modules (more than one) may not fit well in standard or smaller sized drawers. Official dimensions are (I believe): 417mm x 188mm x 45mm

the smart driver has caught my eye.

Does anyone have any feedback on this handle? Does it fit the standard bits and extensions that are meant for impact drivers?

Consider this a standard bit driver that doubles as a T-handle, which is pretty effective if you have varied length bits for different needs. Shorty bits make the handle act almost as a stubby driver and can give you a lot of direct force and torque on the bit. Longer bits, such as the ones sold by Felo for this driver, make the handle act like a chunky gripped standard screwdriver. Long bits for this are about $5 each and come in the typical range of driver options.

All of the Felo materials and the stuff regurgitated by resellers shows this with a bit, and makes statements such that you could easily assume that at least one bit is included. As a matter of fact, it does not, so don't think that you get anything with it and you'll be happy.

For $9, I'd definitely buy it again.

Lately without buying tools, but checking the forum every day.

The Force socket has a sort of pin or plate to maintain fixed bit, do not know if all sockets of this type are designed in this way, because this is the only one that can be seen (in any case, so I bought the HAZET, keep the force, if at any time the HAZET fails, never know, prevention is better :lol_hitti)

Excellent, thanks for the info - just what I was looking for. The T-handle feature would certainly be handy.

I would probably have gone for the boxed carry set but I would imagine that there would be clearance issues with smaller screws due to the 1/4" hax shaft (when compared to a standard screwdriver).

Well, not from old world, but once of my last adquisitions, brake tool is made in USA, but the magnetic pick-up don't show COO, so probably come from CHINA

you´re right ! And then you still complain ?? :D then send them to me :D good for bicycle repair and misc. stuff to repair at home.... for 2,50 each.... :D

i thought they want to focus on the Bahco brand and phase out the spanish brand names etc. and now they introduce a completely unknown brand ??? if that makes sense.......?

i dunno....if the Osram light lights it´s ok with or without helvetica font :D ;)

same quality, just not such a famous name in pliers like Knipex. Their pipe wrenches and water pump pliers are quite common though.

How did you manage to get a "free sample"?!.....and those pliers look like they could handle just about anything!

No, I don't complain at all mate! :beer: But i use them for not so tough tasks. I carry this kit always in my toolbox. For harder tasks I go to the car and bring out my ratchet-set.

One question Monte, I can use a PZ screwdriver with screws made for PH screwdrivers?, It seems a silly question, but this kind of tip (PZ) not used much around here. Although in several occasions, I have seen sites that say they are compatible.

Well, it's hard to say. They're different.

I like the handle on the Stahlwille more.
I like the ratchet head of the Gedore more. I also like the Gedore mechanism more (less pressure required to make it ratchet, so it will be less likely to free-wheel a loose bolt), despite not generally being a fan of push-button release.
I like the precise socket to drive fitment of the Stahlwille more.
I like the price Ash is offering on his limited supply of the Gedore sets more.
I like the knurling of the Gedore sockets more.

But the main reason I went with two different brands:
For 3/8, which I primarily use because space is a concern, I like Stahlwille's favoring small outer size more.
For 1/2, which I primarily use where space is not a concern, I like Gedore's make it stronger by making it the same quality just bigger more.

I will eventually add a Gedore 3093 Z-94 to the 3/8" set for tight spaces.

They want to concentrate on their core business, so they are preparing this branch for sale - that´s how i read it, anyway...possible buyers could be some swedish investment group, a employee fund, or maybe Stihl or Husqvarna?:

I noticed that the combination pliers are a bit stiff, just as you mentioned some hundred pages ago :) But just on the second half opening. For the first half they open easier. Could this be a design feature and not a bug?

The company I bought the pliers from also sells Stahlwille, Felo, Normex, Scala and... Proxxon. Proxxon is pretty well regarded here and compared to all the junk we get here their tools are actually good, but IMO you can get better quality for about the same price or same quality for less money (like Multisystem/Topas for sockets and Wiha for drivers, just a couple of examples).

I've never used them, only seem some shown on display in a DIY store. They are not very well finished, the pliers a bit stiff, plus they are expensive, about the same level as german tools.

The 32mm open box wrench is from Tona and the double ended deep offset ring wrench 20-21mm is from Tona Czechoslovakia.
Nowadays the company belongs to Stanley and sells Stanley Expert brand tools http://www.tona.cz/index.php

Does anybody know about MELEU brand from Germany, quality etc?
Also the same question about the DDR 16-18mm double ended flat ring wrench and what is Super Steel?

Welcome to GJ, and the old world tools. I really doubt it is real super steel, just another CrV steel I think. Real super steel has manganese mixed into the steel alloy. Making the steel very strong. But they are used in super structure construction. And real super steel is really expensive.
