Thanks a lot :)

Do you know which Karcher model have aluminium pumpe, because I heard that there is models with plastic one :dunno:

:beer:

unfortunately they don´t show which models have a plastic pump or aluminium pump....i have to research that first.....
the easiest would be to buy a Kränzle pressure washer since all of them have a drop forged brass pump housing and stainless steel valves ......:)

edit:
this is the lowest price Kärcher with aluminium pump it seems:
http://www.kaercher.de/de/Produkte/...r/Mittelklasse_Hochdruckreiniger/16368400.htm

edit edit: :)
the Kärcher "K2" + "K3" + "K4" series washer have a "N-Cor" pump from "Polyfiber" plastic....
the "K5" and "K6" series have a alu pump and the "K7" has a brass pump

edit: edit: edit: :)
this special model has a alu pump too:
http://www.kaercher.de/de/Landingpage/K_4650_Limited_KTM_Edition.htm

so the pump qualities are:
Plastic = junk :)
Alu = better
Brass = best

edit²:
the internet says :) you also should look how much water goes through the nozzle..... 600 liter /hour is considered "good"

I have the bosch 1/2 impactor without the bit adapter built in, and I use it to change tires. It has over 100ft/lb or torque. And I like that it is so compact.

so no troubles with struggeling to get your bolts out? :) I favour this set on ebay http://www.ebay.de/itm/111000878737?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Price looks great in my opinion. 2,6 Ah is not the strongest battery available but I have no problem with recharging and the 4 ah version is waaay pricier.

Added a couple of Bott cupboards to complement the Lista toolbox. I'm not positive, but I think these are made in Germany. Please excuse the **** phone-cam pic:

The worktop is just sitting on there at the moment, but it'll get bolted to cabinets and I'll add an upstand/backsplash to hide the expansion gaps.

Does any brand come in orange? I thought I saw a pair of those by someone else in orange, unless it was the pic that distorted the color.

Bahco maybe ?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a Gedore 3/4" ratchet (Gedore because of availability here) and I was wondering which design is the strongest:

http://www.gedore.de/en/products/ar...[list_set]=146747,136315,136316,136317,141284

http://www.gedore.de/en/products/ar...[list_set]=146747,136315,136316,136318,141285

http://www.gedore.de/en/products/ar...[list_set]=146747,136315,136316,136319,141286

http://www.gedore.de/en/products/ar...[list_set]=146747,136315,136316,136320,141287

I would say the second or third one (U-2 or U-3), because of the big pawls, but Gedore lists the last one (Z-94) as "extremely rugged"

Any thoughts?

Not bad I think - just over £100/ea delivered. It goes a long ways to improving my use of space though. I got them from XS Storage on ebay - lightly used. They're 1000mm tall, 750mm wide, and 500mm deep. The colour (RAL 5015) is very slightly different than Lista (RAL 5012) but not so much it jumps out at you.

http://www.altrec.com/carhartt/mens-duck-active-jacket-quilted-flannel-lined/

It´s only $49.99 right now (Brown color - XXL - "Regular" size), shipping within the US would be free...
i can pay with paypal

Monte, you realized that the jacket you liked is made in mexico. It is not the USA line. I have it in dark brown. That is the going price at allot of the big chain like gander mountain, where I picked up mine for 40 dollars on sale.

It is hard to know which is the strongest as 3/4" ratchets all tend to be well bulked up.
I would put my money on link 3. It looks to be the Facom gear design and looks more compact than the type on link 1.

The fact that you can remove the handle, is also an added bonus for 3/4 ratchets.

The one on link 4 has the square drive that pushes through to reverse. They annoy me.

No, it was Bahco, but those Beta look nice too.

But where is that made? I bought several sizes of these from Amazon and realized upon receiving them they are made in china! WTF! Especially for the price they were, I'm sending them back.

I guess Bahco have sold their souls:mad:
They used to be such a respected brand.

Always look for the COO when you buy tools!
I just bought some Bahco hacksaw blades that were made in Sweden, so the good stuff is still out there. (they're about the best hacksaw blades I've ever used!) :thumbup:
