Here are some interesting old tools I recently acquired. I picked up these 4 hammers from the estate of an engineer. I think they are all made in Germany. 2 are marked GUSS~STAHL and the other 2 just have symbols and codes. Note the square handle socket in the 2nd smallest one.

The last time I changed a tire by hand I was wishing I had a 20" tire iron. My fingers ache just thinking about it. I picked up the Gedore made in South Africa tire irons from the same engineers estate as well as this set of open end wrenches marked GOLDEN CITY and also made in SA.
Last are these 3 bearing scrapers made by Moore & Wright, Sheffield, England.

Very nice tools, 2oolhound! I think i would try to glue the split handle on the top hammer, white glue (PVA) and some tight rubberbands overnight, it would be a pitty with a brand new handle on this.
