Wow.........$15.90=11,76€..nice price !

Here in Germany you would pay much more for it.

I’m a little bit disappointed by the bad processing quality of the SKG Silverline Plus Skrewdriver.

Does anybody make the same experience ? :dunno:

Looks like the same supplier as Heyco.
I know that Heyco's modern grip screwdrivers are Felo, but I'm not so sure about their hard handle ones. There is nothing like this shape in Felo's own catalog. It may be some other manufacturer.
If anyone knows, please tell us.

They sell a lot of Skandia tools in Dutch hardware stores. Screwdrivers, wrenches, saws etc.
never saw them here except 1 tool at the Bauhaus store :dunno:

Made a couple of videos of my new cordless Fein drill:

A little bit tool customizing. :D

The simple look of the LUX branded (NWS Classic Plus) Pliers, was not my cup of tea.

The handle is made out of cast aluminium , the body is made out of steel plate while the forged jaws are riveted in place. Very nice ! I also like that release mechanism. But unfortunately the price is ridiculous ( $ 53,80) Luckily it was on sale....
I believe there's a much cheaper way to round off a nut.
IMHO

Monte, anyone else...... I recently discovered I have two older DOE marked Ehlis.

This is a Spanish importer of German tools for the markets in Spain and Portugal. They have quite the impressive catalog at that too.

Does anyone outside of Spain or Portugal see this brand much? I've not seen mention of it here yet.

For those interested in "who makes what", the M7 tools are interesting...
If you look at their website (mighty-seven.com), this shows up:
View media item 33787Strange! No guarantee that it´s all the same, but Armac, Kings Luck, King Tony, Mighty Seven, Pneutech, Tw-tech and Unison could all be same brand?
Anybody knows?
Bhae, any information about COO on the Bahco cabinet? Looks very nice.

C'est bon !

Where would those Made in France wrenches rank compared to all the other Euro wrenches ?

I believe that SAM tools are used widely by the French military!

I have a friend who maintains military vehicles who has quite few and rates them highly. Comparable to Facom (old French made Facom - i.e. pretty good) but not so well known and not quite as high priced!

When I last found them online it looked as though they were going down the outsourcing route, but I can't imagine the French government placing orders for outsourced ****, so there may be hope!

Worth finding out more!

I know someone on this forum contacted them about distribution opportunities in the UK, but if I recall correctly the promised information wasn't provided. It would be nice to see their stuff over here.

Their 50-series combination spanners - and some other tools - can be had through Amazon UK.

nice stuff :) too bad that I have already chosen the bosch blue way - dont want to invest in another system although I need a drill - guess Im waiting until bosch releases more 18v brushless stuff....

dont you think the fein stuff looks a bit bulky? that would be my only negative point about their products

Very modest …….in comparison to Montes angle grinder army. :D
which of the small grinders do you like the best ?
Thanks Monte, i think that are made in france, but not sure:
thanks for the pic !

but not a more elegant way ;)

never heard of that brand until today www.ehlis.es
I'm looking for a hand seamer like below. I want to bent some sheets manually.

View media item 34003
Do you know any european manufacturer for a quality hand seamer?
can´t see a pic but i guess you mean that:
http://www.werkzeughandel-roeder.de...absetz-falzzange/falzzange-gerade-304060.html
Hazet once offered them too, Bessey too, Freund
http://www.freund-cie.com/shop/index.php/cPath/2_20092
Turnus http://www.turnus.de/index.cfm?v_Sp...odukte/produkte_detail.cfm&v_title=Handwerker Zangen&v_produktgruppe_id=6
but i don´t know where they are made.......
Sturem offers some german made models:
http://www.sturem.de/Falz-und-Deckzangen
VBW has straight and bent ones http://vbw.de/produkt.jsp?pid=10867&group=9&ugroup=29
these are most likely made in Germany: http://www.schmiedetechnik-halbach.de/zangenfertigung/dachdeckerzangen-klempnerzangen/

thought about Bosch too but i only need a drill + impact and Fein offers that. Metabo has some nice stuff too....
yeah the Fein drills + impacts are not as slim as competitors but well balanced. The heavy duty drill competitors models are usually top-heavy. The impact competitiors have a slimmer motor housing but also less torque. Fein has a bigger motor than the competitors.

Monte thanks a lot! Do you ever used a tool like that? Do you prefer the locking model or something like the Gedore one? A friend of mine want to make a fireplace air heater. The metal box for the air flow motor will be made with sheet 0,8 mm thickness. Are these pliers worth the money?

I like those AMF clamps Monty. No doubt from the flea market they were somewhat cheaper than my Bessey's.

Some AMF hex keys - the long ones are nicely plated (nickel it seems)
