Yes to left or right hand threads. In the set I have, two cover SAE 9-30tpi (maybe 32? I'd have to go check), and one covers metric thread pitch 0.75-3mm. Sykes Pickavant (and presumably some other brands) also do BSW/BSF versions.

I haven't tried them yet myself to say exactly what they will and won't accomplish, nor how easy they are to use; it worked well enough for the guy who sorted my grinder for me to want a set though. And they're cheap enough that if they get me out of a jam once or twice they'll have paid for themselves.

If you mean the Wiha one, it usually comes in the kits with the Topra ratcheting handle.

UKTools - I think are best avoided. They seem to list everything regardless of whether they can actually provide it, or the lead-times involved. I don't recall what's been discussed before, but have you looked at vapour blasting? I'm not sure if it's practical from a DIY perspective, but it seems to get good results.

Interesting, but seems to not be a DIY option. I found no info about places selling equipment at least. And also, with water as a media carrier iron can't be treated I would guess.

The ratcheting/box set would be great to have. Only one wrench to break loose and remove bolts. A bit pricey though, and even though I don't have any Britool Hallmark tools, I haven't heard much favourable opinions here...

The angle I can live with I think. It's an extra 10cm of leverage from a 19mm Stahlwille 14 series. Thanks for the tip!

That stuff is generally not great, but the Hallmark range was I believe an independent spin off from around the time Britool was bought out by Facom and those tools tend to be of good quality. If it is a quality product, COO is not that important. Yes, I have talked to PrimeTools here on the forum previously, and I think they would be the best solution to get them.

The Stahlwilles sure are nice. But the price is a bit too much for me I think.

Somebody else might have something smart to add to my decision process also, so a bit of background:

My main wrenches are Facom 440s. I love them for comfort and design. They just fell so good in the hand. But they have a drawback, they are quite short. And since I always try to avoid abusing tools, it doesn't feel right. I thought about getting a second set of wrenches, a long set. Looked at Gedore 7XL and Stahlwille 14 mostly. Then I thought about the long, straight wrenches I see all the time here in american toolboxes. They should be perfect for my needs, a bit of extra leverage. So that's why I asked the question if the first place, since getting hold of american tool truck brands here is usually expensive and to much hassle.

Careful with the second hand helmets. The batteries do not last forever.

We had a Optrel Satellite which only lasted about 4 years. There is no easy way of replacing the battery - you are supposed to buy the complete cartridge.

Currently have a SifLite, going strong for about 4 years now:

Do you can try it before welding ? But i guess it should work well. Afaik all Speedglas helmets have replaceable batteries.
