I wonder if Fein is making the Vecturo for Festool. With the exception of the switch placement, the Vecturo looks very similar to the current Fein Supercut.

Yeah, their manufacturing facility is in the US; they are headquartered in Coquitlam, BC, which is 15mins away from me. Maybe I'll swing by their office one day.
BTW, my ratcheting bit driver is moulded with the words "Made in Canada" though.

? They are made in Taiwan, by Kabo. That direction button is a signature of theirs.
My guess is that the forged wrench body gets shipped to Taiwan and Kabo assembles them there, before it gets shipped back to Stahlwille. That's how KTC in Japan did for many years with their older generation ratcheting wrenches, and were therefore quite expensive. If I'm right, I suspect those 'willes will also be high dollar items.

I can sale to you mine because it is useless on pipes. First I bought Rothenberger and was disappointed. Late I bought SmartGrip and was dissapointed too. I will not buy selfadjusting pliers ever. They does not hold pipes firmly.

I believe some people call them Dumbgrips instead.
Used Stahlwille 3/8" ratchet fresh from ebay.de. Cleaned out a wee bit of old crud and oiled it lightly. It is now a pleasure to use with soft action and low drag. Anyone know what years this handle was produced?

That button looks like it'd constantly get bumped in confined spaces, and switch ratchet directions. Different for different's sake, or is there some actual purpose behind its placement?
And call me a cynic, but I'm betting that if even any part of it is made/finished in Germany, it'll be stamped Made in Germany regardless. If none of it is made in Germany, it'll probably just get stamped "Germany"

i guess they´re from South Korea !? There are korean work gloves sold through the "Bauhaus" stores but they also only say "Made in Korea".
Or maybe made in North Korea by a South Korean company ? (Kaesong Industrial Complex). I don´t know if the northern koreans have the technology to make anything....good....

I've got the same metabo drill and can honestly say it is the best powertool I've ever bought ,mines a bit battered but I wouldn't swap it for anything else .

I received the 2 Wolfcraft 6” clamps from Amazon. I’ll do a comparison (weight) and any dimensional differences when I can. When that’ll be I don’t know. But I do like them a lot.

Every Metabo tool I’ve got has become my favorite. Drills, grinders, sanders.
The weight, the balance, the quality, the feel.
I did pick up a couple of older corded Metabo drills that I have yet to use. Bought for fairly cheap but I figured I might “need” them someday.
Bart, this picture is ****. It hasn't the satin finish of gedore. It has the finish of the older 7ur that were made in Taiwan. The finish is more close to sockets and extension of the 1/4 range of gedore.
