No idea, sorry.
Cromwell seem to have so many own brands that it's a bit silly:
Kobe (power tools) - see
http://www.kobe-tools.com/
Osaki (power tools) as well.
Got to have German and Japanese names to make them sound good!
Senator (tools) seem to be theirs (note the connection to Kennedy) as do Yamoto (tools) as well (another Japanese name).
Now for the UK:
Sherwood (cutting tools) - see
http://www.sherwood-tools.co.uk/
York (abrasives) - see
http://www.machinery.co.uk/machinery-suppliers/york-abrasives/80003184/
Also Matlock (industrial products), Avon (packing, storage), Rutland (contractors tools) and Solent (lubricants, cleaning, hygiene)
They also sell Oxford Precision (precision tools) and although there is a company called Oxford Precision Components (in Oxford) I think they are unrelated so that's another one.
These are all UK place or river names!
Finally, I found this on another website:
There's probably more if I could be bothered to do the legwork.
I take a dim view of this overall approach - it's rather misleading.
