Twenty pounds of German Steel:

VW 3250 "support bars" for relieving tension on VW Eurovan torsion bars (allows work on shock absorbers, ball joints, etc.)
VW support arms 10253 for "service position" for radiator and modular front end. (If you use a block of wood, etc., you risk breaking the fan or radiator shroud). (These were only $16).

Hazet piston ring installer
Kukko/Ate brake piston pusher
Kukko/Matra 3411 service position bolts for VW, Audi, BMW and MINI
Kukko 129-0 ball joint separator

The VW support bars and radiator holding brackets were direct purchases from the Snap On VW dealership tools program. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. The rest were eBay purchases, except for the Mercedes spark plug socket, which was left over from the sale of a 240D.

Is someone familiar with this?

http://www.tori.fi/uusimaa/Hazet_apukarry_taittokarry_muovikarry_15212258.htm?ca=16&w=1

I couldn't find equivalent from hazet site... Some kind of folding tool trolley, price makes it interesting!

Edit: Okay, it must be this http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAZET-Klapp...456272?pt=Transportgeräte&hash=item4186cd00d0 .

Yes, that is it. Basically shipping is much more expensive than the item itself. Hazet gives them to the dealers to present the special priced screwdriver sets etc.

Hi Monte,

How do you like the Tejera winter glove you just got ?

It´s good for light duty work i think (driving forklift for example - thats what i was doing with them) You can also handle paperwork, write etc. The fingers are tight/the fitment is good. However its difficult to grab very small things like a M5 nut for example. The blue colored cloth seems to be spandex, the grey "cotton" is quite thick, the black cloth at the palm of the hands is thin it seems. I think its like artificial leather. A older previous model got damaged quite fast so thats why i use this pair only for light duty work. For handling rough things i would choose the "construction workers" gloves with thicker real leather.

News from Bosch:

brushless 10,8/12 volt impacts:

36 volt rotary hammers:

14,4/18 volt drill/drivers with removeable/exchangeable chucks Festool style:

10,8/12 volt LED light:

18 volt jig saws:

During cold weathers these work great:

Comfortable while working well below -20 celcius. Also quite durable, atleast I have lost mine before wore them out.:dunno:

I have questions about Stahwille tools.
1) How come the Stahwille company removed the brand name from the handles of the 2014 version?
2) Why doesn't the new combination ratchet wrenches model 17 include "made in Germany" on it? Does that mean they are not made in Germany?
These questions are for those who are interested in German tools, Thanks.

The ratchets are still made in Germany! New Series 17 Ratchet wrenches are made by kabo in Taiwan. Their new ratcheting screwdriver are also overseas!

I think these are the cheaper line Bahco, and even if I like Bahco as an old habit I'm not to impressed with these screwdrivers.

Monte,

If you have them, could you please take a picture of the NWS (length 165cm and 180cm) side by side ?

Many thanks

brushless 10,8/12 volt impacts:

nice! I want one. I just got a PS32 which is the US version of the 10,8volt brushless drill. I want the impact driver, but we only have the non brushless version right now. The 3/8 impact is friggin cool too. I want one of each!

Due to patent issues I believe these Gedores are the only German made ratcheting wrenches apart from the old bolted together sandwich type.

ugh, so you're going to get them in April. Which means we get them in april 2017 or so lol. I guess I could hunt one down and ship it over but the exchange rate and shipping wouldn't be too favorable. I'll have to live with the brushed version until then. Honestly I won't use it alot, I just kinda wanted the latest version.
