not a fan of bare metal handles, but that pair looks awesome
me neither. I prefer comfort handle pliers (Knipex...) The design of these older pliers is nice though
Congrats and Angela has a special award waiting for you in Berlin !
lol no thanks

so awesome. Didn't you have a another one? ...or was it Knipex or Belzer
yeah a Belzer, Gedore and another Hazet

(Hazet model 1802-2)
I promise the next one will be pic's of good stuff from Germany or some other European countries
Good intention
Really unfortunate to see those metabo made in china tools. Previously I thought metabo was all made in germany?
I recently purchased a metabo and fein grinder, both of those are made in germany, fantastic tools.
once upon a time....everything was made in germany

Times change

But don´t worry their more expensive tools are still made here.....grinders, drills, sanders, stationary saws....everything still available "Made in Germany".
If you take a look at the Metabo catalog from 1978 below you can see that the retail prices (DM 227.- = about 116 Euro) didn´t change that much in the last 37 years if you compare the saw from below with a
modern counterpart. So if the retail price don´t change you have to change something else

coo for example

. But luckily here in europe we still have the chance (and choice) to buy power tools made in germany not only from Metabo but also from Fein, Festool, Mafell, Kress, Stihl, Baier, Duss, Suhner, Eibenstock ......
@Monte, who makes best tap and die units in Germany? Is Ruko any good? Thanks...
I´m not sure if Ruko is actually made here...
I think Gühring is one of the biggest and most common threading tool manufacturer from here:
