Santa brought me this:

WEV 15-125 HT. It's geared for more torque/less RPM for concrete use, and also variable speed. Should fit all the concrete grinding and cutting shrouds available as well.

Decided to buy them all separately, because the included grinders in the shroud kits are lesser grinders for cost savings I assuming (i.e. the plunge cut tracksaw attachment comes w/ the 1200W grinder, the 1550W that comes w/ the grinding shroud isn't variable speed).

I lose out on the Metaloc systainer insert though, which would be nice for keeping everything in order.

Not stahlwille, if you dont count flashlights and stuff like that! All handtools are made in germany!

I was looking through the 2014 Stahlwille printed catalogue and items not German (or European) made have a green star symbol. It's not stated in the index what that means, but the known imports like the ratchet screwdriver, ratchet wrench and torch are thus marked. The only other imports indicated are a few new style tool trolley and a few specialist impact hex sockets. So, only about 4 pages out of 340 are import

Hazet do the opposite. No German flag by the item and it's an import.

I've had instances in the past where I had to get an accurate inside measurement, like the width inside of a cabinet. I made do with a standard tape measure, which was at times cumbersome to use.

I recently came across a folding rule that I actually wanted for some time--a Swiss made LongLife folding rule with its built-in extendable probe. The probe allows for depth measurements, but more importantly (for me) it's ability to make accurate inside measurements.

As an added benefit (I didn't realize it until I looked at it more carefully at home) it has a feature to measure angles, like a protractor.
The probe has a white arrow which corresponds to the to indicated the degree value on the ruler (in this case 45*)

I have one of those rulers, mine is Whia branded but for some reason the instructions are not printed on the side like yours.
Good rulers though.

Got the NWS quattrogrips at Toom, obviously. And the Gedore pliers at Wolff. Gedore pliers made in Austria and they are very impressive. No slop, jaws in perfect alignment.

My original photo shows the part# LongLife: 1259

The 1259 model is a 1m long ruler without the extending probe (1259 model is 2m long).
