Had to get them.
Picked this VBW plier set while working in Spain this last fall. Got them at Cobsa in Getafe just south of Madrid.

Hi.
Finally dream came true - I've got RIDGID Peddinghaus Vises Matador 120mm.
Made in Germany.
They have interesting mechanism for adjusting play caused by wear.
I'm happy. But I must say that I expected better quality.
Jaws are not perfectly parallel. 0.15 mm gap on the right side.
Bottom ways are not hardened and very soft. Also they had a lot of dents.
I found a lot of chips inside while disassembling them.

Hello Starrag, I have got RIDGID MATADOR too, but it's different!

I made video comparison between RIDGID and HEUER, sadly you bought stupid matador, HEUER much better!

I got the world renowned Wiha MaxxTor (Or Terminator for us Americans:uzi:). They look, feel and work good. Only problem is the collar on some of them are too wide in diameter that I can't directly put it in the drive of my impact. The Wera are no issue to this!

Knipex Superknips! Many times smaller in person than my expectations! the machining and workmanship is superb. Rivet is perfectly round (not smashed), edges super sharp, cuts a flat flush cut, final grinding is clean, and action is smooth. I really love these cutters! Forgot to mention the colour is so ****, wish they made every tool in this esd color. MADE IN GERMANY!

Some news. German made Kirschen chissels and a few japanese saws. The saw blade is just 0.3mm so its possible to make very nice and fine cuts with the least efford.

That's the best site for TopTul in Europe.
German site has nearly all the TopTul tools at 20-30% discount at the moment. Offering is smaller then a few years ago, but if you switch (at the bottom of the page) to Slovak or Polish sites there's a lot more choice.

price/performance is great ! Can´t go wrong with Rennsteig punches + chisels ! The cutting edge of the PB chisels might be a bit harder but for the price of the Rennsteigs they can´t be beat.
