*snip* Now, try to break them in hands
Send them to me and I'll give it an honest try. ;)

Welcome to the forum.

Superbec, is the Facom socket driver made in France? Nice haul btw. TBS Aachen is a candy store if I ever saw one with excellent shipping prices too. I have resisted so far but...

I have not noticed any pain when using any of pliers.

I take a few precautions however, wear comfy gloves and cut down with a smooth pace. Don't try to squeeze the pliers as hard as you can! That proably means you are surpassing the limit of the pliers.

I think Memento responded to this, I don't have any factual info about the coo, the set looks and feels very well built, the case is that kind of high quality plastic you can see from a far. the price beats even nice Taiwan manufacturers...I put the 3/8 to the test last week, nothing broke so I went with this one today.

it seems the trip paid off !
looks like a nice motorcycle :)
it sure payed off for TBS quart income :)

I just went for the compressor and couldn't resist.

bike's not mine, just fotobombed my compressor :)

If you are referring to the 1/4 spinner handle, yes it is made in France.

there are no COO markings on any of those sets, they look and feel 2-3 times more expensive.

I recently got a 1/4" set and the spinner handle still has France on it. Their screwdrivers are one of the French made items although I reckon they aren't as good as they once were.

Please refer to the link posted below, which will list the coo for most of Facom's tools and their corresponding part numbers. Sadly, coo markings are becoming a thing of the past.

I have a NANO set that I bought in 2009 and it says 'France' on the driver/spinner, just above the shank.

no markings on mine

oh, thanks, actually I don't care that much about coo... as long as it's not china, or that bad china , but that's not the case here :)

Gedore seems to sit at the front of most sets, is that your pick of the bunch? You may have said previously but are you able to give your personal ranking of the brands you have?

Nice collection Block! Curious to you preference as well considering I am starting my collection of European spanner.

Don't know if it is but I was immediately thinking Belzer.

I had to check in my garage:

It´s shorter then the 1952 serie:

One thing that is very frustrating on n.111 is that the ringend is bent the wrong way then the most of all other wrenches, if you understand me? :headscrat

I like
Stahlwille No.13
HAZET 600N
GEDORE 1B....yes I know.... I've got to many 1B's :D
Facom 440

But recently I became a traitor

At the moment I'm really impressed by my Toptul High-Perfomance and Super-Torque combowrenches, nice price and realy, realy good quality, but I don't have enough space on the wall.

Just like my MAC wrenches. Not a fan of that particular solution.
