If anybody has been following my TBS-Aachen saga:
I guess my e-mails were just going to his spam filter or something. I decided to send the same question again but this time through the web contact form on the website and he took care of it today, so all is well.
Looks like tool misuse to me! Isnt that a coffee spoon not a tea spoon? Wera warranty voided!
the most importantIt's doing an important job!
Thanks guys, it seems to be Luckhaus. I have never heard of them before so many German tools cannot keep up with the names[emoji6]

Does anyone have any experience with the company "AW-Tools"? They have a 12V Fein drill and multitalent combo for what seems like a reasonable price.

Monte do you know when the new metabo will be available for purchase?
Will we see "Made in Czechia" stamped on tools soon ?
^^+1
Thanks Monte, I was just about to fork for a BS 18 LTX BL Quick, I think I will just wait for the updated version. Even though I think the aforementioned is plentiful for my needs, but I guess it's also about what I want. Some few weeks ago I acquired a Metabo BE 75-16, and now I am a huge fan of Metabo, what a beast.
Very nice indeed. The tool at the very left doesn't seem to belong![]()
Thank you so much for the correction mr_jack!!!![]()

I think there is not such a problem to exchange it.Some german tool companies do not have great quality control.......I have bought a gedore 1/2 socket set and came with 2 same number sockets.I am still waiting for a responce after one year.....[emoji35] [emoji35] [emoji35]Before anyone buys more Metabo, heres a recent experience I've had with them. Even if the flaw was minor, it was recognized as a flaw, not addressed, and think their customer service and quality control is therefore very disappointing.

Just spotted this review for a drill on Amazon too. I guess I should feel lucky their customer service responded (then did nothing).

For Gedore I have to say they are the worst. I have sent them numerous emails never got an answer. Also, after having a few GEDORE items and seen the quality I would buy Facom Taiwan or KS tools instead.I think there is not such a problem to exchange it.Some german tool companies do not have great quality control.......I have bought a gedore 1/2 socket set and came with 2 same number sockets.I am still waiting for a responce after one year.....[emoji35] [emoji35] [emoji35]

sorry no clue...Monte do you know when the new metabo will be available for purchase?
yeah maybe it´s better to wait, maybe the prices of the old version will come down too....Thanks Monte, I was just about to fork for a BS 18 LTX BL Quick, I think I will just wait for the updated version. At least in Germany it is normal that the dealer handles the warranty claims because thats where you bought the product. Before anyone buys more Metabo, heres a recent experience I've had with them. Feins have a burr too so they´re out...Unfortunately other options like Fein seem to carry far less products here, and generally charge significantly higher prices except on occasional low priced deals. I think its just an availability issue that really causes the prices to be so high..?
I have that set in my truck box, really nice things to use.

Anyone have a decent drill bit sharpening solution readily and affordably available this side of the pond.
Seems the drill Doctor is pretty popular with the US crowd but the base model starts at 132 euros plus minus a little.
Amazon us has the same model for 50 usd but then I have a 110v problem.
Should I just **** it up and learn to sharpen on a bench grinder?
