The Norbar Norbars can be found for surprisingly little on the internet any time. I have 3 now

They're such good value for what they are and their quality.

Must be why i have so many of them..

I only have one of these fixed-head Britool torque wrenches. I think i should buy another as they're so satisfying to use:

I read a rumor that GEDORE torque wrenches come with free lifetime calibration!

That is worth to find out:rocker:

I posted this in new tool arrivals too. Seems like a very great vise. I had a hard time debating between this, and a Heuer vise from Jens's website. Really came down to the costs of shipping from Germany, and that the Heuer would have required buying the swivel base separately.

Hopefully the non-replaceable jaws hold up well !

She's a beauty! I have been keeping my eye out for a secondhand one and for a Heuer! Curious about the jaws too.

Nice vise! I also ordered my Ridgid Superior yesterday.

Seems like this is the superior despite not being red in colour due to the welded in pipe jaws? I only see 2 vice versions available in the USA. This one and a green colour one that has a quick release for fast adjusting on the jaw.

Yes, you are correct. I think they are just called something else for the US market. Mine will also have the pipe jaws, and be red in colour. I ordered the 160 model.

Got this Bahco 1/4" drive locking extension off of eBay. The female drive end has a slight indent in the middle of the flats which gives decent grip for quick finger turning - perhaps not as good as Ko-ken's 'semi-knurling', but useful none the less.

I can't seem to find much googling these. Does anyone know if these came with socket sets only or if they are available separately, and if so, do they come in long lengths - like 10"+?
Or any other suggestions for similar locking extensions?

within 24 month of purchase the calibration is free. I dunno what they charge after that...

it seems they don´t sell the tools of their imported sets individually.

e.g. Stahlwille offers quick release extensions.

Congrats. Looks pretty similar to the Gedore vice I got a while ago that Monte said it's maid by FZA.

I am currently in Taiwan to see my dad and his friend happens happen to work at a Kitchware stall in the mega mall here, so naturally I picked up some knives.

It was hard to decide between all the brands like BergHOFF (Belgium), Burgvogel (Germany), Wusthof (Germany), Chef de France (France), Shun (Japan), etc... but I pick two of the Burgvogel knives because I never heard of them.

Pictures to arrive soon. :)

I can't wait to visit the local Factory Gear here too

Me like

Are FZA vises made in Germany? I'd hope a Gedore vise was made in germany! I specifically bought the Rigid because it was made in Germany, it was that or a USA Wilton. I agree, they do look very similar, clearly the same style of vise.

Theres another brand that makes a rip off of these style vises called Capri tools, not sure if they're Taiwanese or Turkish made.

Very nice workmanship. I see that you've but your metal brake into work already :).

It's made in Italy, I think if I am not mistaken, FZA also makes Leinen vices as well.

Thank you for the info Monte.
Unfortunately the Stahlwille extensions don't have any knurling on or near the driven end nor do they offer any really long ones.

Nice fabrication work there.
