Can anyone show 2 pics between a european hammer an an american style thats been discussed here? I've tried searching, and I thought the typical claw hammer as pictured above was ubiquitous everywhere. Didn't realize that was distinctly an american style?

They are IME.
My Wiha's come in second (1kV insulated electricians versions for normal size). The tips just don't fit as well as the PB Swiss IME, and I've damaged a few fasteners with them.
My precision screwdrivers however, are nearly 100% Wiha, as they offer more profiles than any other brand. May still break down and buy a few PB Swiss ones though (the most commonly used sizes).

That Euro one is a slaters hammer.
American style is basically the same as Euro but without all the regional differences. Apart from the California framers, those are really their own.

Is the second set of stilsons an alloy set?? Is that why the frame shape change?? And whilst they look like a12" set, the plate as a reference would suggest more like 8" ??
I have got a miniature pair tucked away somewhere and very handy and useful they are too, great for quick gripping a variety of items but small enough to be carried in a day to day toolbox!

How easy is to set the thickness and do they cut clean the wires?
Do they keep the setting or get loose?
Anything you don't like or should be aware with regards to functionality/ reliability and quality of stripping?

I can't be certain about the 8" ones but my only Record Leader set of stilsons is steel bodied, but it is the 48" one. The Leader line was the high quality stuff.

This is a lovely hacksaw. I've got the two gedores, a lightweight aluminum us made frame and I will probably get the two swedish made bahcos as well. More than likely the coo is listed on the bag the tool comes in but retailers will remove the tool from the bag for their inventory and of course ship it without. The bahco mini hacksaw is unfortunately made in china now which is a shame.
I've also amassed quite a bit of wiha like the new 26 in one, the drive loc with a couple of blades, all the various bit holding screwdrivers and stubbies, terminator bit sets, etc. Next is a few gedore, irega, pb swiss. I handled some guhring drill bits that were quite nice. Really disappointed to hear about a guy bending two rather large gedore wrenches that came with his heavy equipment and hearing him talk trash on the brand, a real shame.

Facom 603F, aluminium and I think stainless attachments and inserts for preventing rust.
In theory is a a bit heavier than the 601 however I cannot feel the difference. It feels very strong and sturdy.
The blade attached by spring loaded mechanism on the front that makes it study and not rotating while changing blades. The 601 has no rotating attachments so a bit more straightforward when blade changing.
Very tight tolerances of the rear blade attachment with positive and easy locking at 45 degree intervals.
All in all very pleased. I would prefer the handles to have a bit rubber texture as the 601. The aluminium 603F feels very cold when getting it on your hand[emoji4].

Gedore makes a lot of good tools and a few not so good, but overall is a good brand.
Is the saw below the one yoy refer to? It looks very good!
What is the blade tension, i.e. kg?
Can you position the blade in other angles other than 90 degrees, i.e. normal?

I´ve not seen any more stores here selling KS tools. Maybe they focus on export or the markets are set over here. I don´t know who makes all their tools. Maybe they source tools from Toptul since it seems they´re a big company and offer good quality. But if so, you could buy Toptul tools as well

Was trying to look up the usual advertising lingo to see if anything made these unique or better than their previous screwdrivers. Does anyone have any info on what 3K means? Or what Drall means? How besides handle shape they differ from other Stahlwille screwdrivers? I got them at 3 dollars per screwdriver which is why I went for it.
Handle looks unusual though compared to my PB Swiss and Felo screwdrivers.

Honestly, I think they fit oddly. The 'sandpaper" or whatever it is, feels more like felt? Its quite soft. The handle is not circular. Its actually flat on each side, so it fits in the hand oddly. I think I like my PB swiss best, then my Felos, then maybe my Proto Durateks.
The more I hold this in my hand, the less I like it. Its just kind awkward. Haven't actually used it on anything yet as I got them today. But they're not something I'd pay a premium for. Much more comfortable options out there. I'll try and get some pictures of it online later today
It is adjustable to 40 degrees but I'm not sure of the tension capacity. I have the other model as well which isn't as nice.

It seems that the Gedore 407 has 75 kg tension.
Facom 601 and 603F they have 80kg and 110 kg, respectively.
