Does anyone have any info on what 3K means?
3 Komponenten (3 components):
1. component - Extremely resistant, impact-safe core made of black polypropylene (PP)
2. component - Soft, heat-bonded inlay made of easy-to-grip thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
3. component - Two large surfaces coated with special fibres, resistant long-term to solvents to improve force transmisson and work safety
:)
Or what Drall means?
Drall means:
-angular momentum
-angle of twist
-rifling
-twist
-spin
-turn

I am amazed by your ability to recognize tools :D
me too :D ;)

I was wondering about these as well. How they feel on your hand? Are they grippy, big size to apply plenty torque and how is the tip fitment?

Do you like them compared to your PB Swiss and Felo?

Thanks

It isn't big if you compare it with Witte maxxpro or Facom protwist. The handle weights lighter than most other brand. The screwdrivers in the picture are PH2/PZ2/SL6.5.

Do you mean the triangular shape? I have a quite large hand and it fits in my hands quite well. The handle is quite a lot larger than the protop series. Maybe the protop series fits into small hands better.

Yes the triangular shape. This is the bit holder

https://www.amazon.it/gp/aw/d/B00PGXYG38/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A11IL2PNWYJU7H

i asked you because from foto i can't undestand if the handle is comfortable with this triangular shape when screwed and unscrewed or it is only useful when applying force on screw.
Thanks again

I don't own a protop series screwdriver, only see it in the shop. Since the Protop series is thinner and not that triangular as the Maxxpro one, I guess it won't be a problem.

Fisco made in England. I like the feel better than the BMI I have and the retracting mechanism is smoother.

Dorset. England.
My main tapes are all Fisco, usually carry a 5m
They normally last a year or a bit more until the tape blade breaks, sometimes the numbers wear off too much before this happens. This is daily use in the building trade so they get wet, covered in dirt etc.
Fisco makes a good tape.

k

I have a few Fiscos of different sizes and like them. The locking mechanism is a bit simplistic and takes effort but it works, just doesn't exactly come across as 'refined'. Regardless, I keep buying Fiscos cause I like them otherwise! And they make some really nice small compact versions for keeping in the truck, or backpack, etc.

Not exactly a tool in the most literal sense, but as a guy who lives alone, a damn useful one. Made in Germany and damn does it make easy work of my button downs and thick cloth stuff.

Hahaha. Always wanted to get one of these sawing machines, even though I'm not single
Ahaha I was both laughing and vomiting at the same time. Nothing as interesting as the aforementioned nightmare.

Just a really high quality iron. Made in Germany, so I figured I would throw it in here. 1800w makes quick work of anything I have to iron for work.

Hi guys,

I am currently searching for diagonal cutters for electric use.
Which do you prefer? And why?
Knipex, Erem, Lindström? Are Lindströms still made in Sweden?

What about Wiha and Gedore? They seem the same:

The Wiha look a bit like the same OEM that a few others use, which is an italian company. I might be wrong, they could be chinese made as well.

If you want the best of the best, they I would look at Tronex (a USA brand). THey make absolutely killer precision stuff but it is damn price.

If you want a great value, check out Schmitz-Zangen. A German manufacturer that is the OEM for a few different German companies precision stuff (Knipex and NWS come to mind).

nah, I have 2 wiha diagonal cutters, it said Made in Germany on both of them, they are very nice quality comparable with knipex at half the price (discounted)

the only thing is they have a tiny bit more drag than the knipex , nothing annoying but there is some friction where in the knipex seems to be almost 0

Magnifying glass made in Japan. Very good and clear view. The good thing is that you can see clearly without keeping the glass very closely to the item or keeping your eye very close to the glass.

Magnet amazingly strong and with the case supplied you can use the glass at any surface even non magnetic.

Fisco rulers in contrast to their tapes are not that great at all! Maybe you ok for occasional use and the £1.89 I paid.

Fisco vs Rabone - no comparison

That's really good to know! Frankly, I strongly dislike the ones from that Italian company, I wish I could remember the name it starts with a P I think. They aren't as bad as the USA made Xuron cutters that I had but they are very so so.

THATS IT! I would say there are at least half a dozen companies that rebadge those cutters.

I spent like 30min trying to find the name. Google kept insisting I was trying to search for pecorino and a dozen other things.
