Here is also two variations, not sure if the spec is the same? These from one of the links above on combination wrenches. Lower one looks like [edit] taiwan designs or Facom type wrenches of similar design.

Nice Vallorbe , did you get it as as part of set or a one off?

May ask where it was bought from?

Thanks

Sent from my HTC Desire 620 using Tapatalk

I bought just one from amazon.com. They are marked as clearance, so only a few sizes are available.

Thanks Monte i will try to buy it on amazon germany because Atlas boot,Haix or Elten are dificult to find in italy in safety boot store, and on amazon.it are very expensive
What about italian shoes ?

Here is also two variations, not sure if the spec is the same? These from one of the links above on combination wrenches. Lower one looks much like modern taiwan designs or Facom type wrenches of similar design.

A long driver from Canada! Not branded. Except Gray, a tool-making company is in Canada?

Ok, I admit:bowdown:

How rigid is the driver if you try to flex it? Hazet does not barge really.

Where would normally use these screwdrivers? I wanted one for the engine bay and suspension, if needed!

Thanks

Elasticity is very good. Simply is not deformed like a strong spring. These are very popular for opening and closing the hose clamps. Especially in the truck. It may be that I'm not aware of other applications.

Don't have a truck yet, but who knows one day:)

Maybe we also buy a Philips PH2 size, just in case?

Yes, but slightly shorter (56Cm). Made by Herbrand.

I am not fond of the standard Gedore wrenches but the ratcheting ones must be very good.

Also I like the Gedore ratchets.

The 1/4 below is really smooth compared to Hazet, Stahlwille and the AST one in the pic.

Only thing is that it has only 40 teeth and so 9 degrees with every click.

Does anyone know any other smooth 1/4 ratchet with plastic handle and quick release?

The AST is advertised as AST hand tools from England but there is no coo and it is probably China or Taiwan. It cost me less than 10 euro so I will test it hard and see how it ends up.

What the hell, Monte is banned?!? Yet Winlinmac is allowed to spam this board with an ongoing barrage of useless threads?

Wth...

I know the mods need to do their thing and everyone can say the wrong thing sometimes... but really....

I haven't known Monte to be anything but helpful on this forum. Give or take 11k times helpful. Perhaps one of the mods want to pipe in especially considering this concerns such a sr. member.

Tapatalk doesn't show a ban apparently.

yeah, I really don't get it, just looked at his last posts, I've got no idea what happened.
He was always very helpful and nice, never seen him engage in some sort of flame war or harsh discussion (unlike many on this forum).
+ the man is a goldmine of information :) Let's hope he comes back!

He posted the Trump searchlight image in the Armstrong thread that got deleted/ locked, breaking the no politics rule, so probably that.

What defines a political rule?

That is nothing political on this and in addition Trump is not sworn as president yet.

So, let Monte free to post!!!!!!!!!!

So 11K good posts and 1 mistake == banned?

This seems maybe a bit disproportionate,

if it's other than just a temporary dustup.

Wow! I didn't even think of the Trump signal as a political thing when I saw it in that thread.

Just wow... Must remind myself to think about what I post before I step on the same kind of land mine.

Very Disappointing to see that Monte is Banned! Anyone know what the rules are, perhaps we can re-read them to see what's up and what not to do. He has ALWAYS been extremely helpful and Knowledgeable!

This thread will die without Monte:wtf:

This is one of the best long running threads here and a great source of information about tools that aren't common in the states. Hopefully, it's just a time out & not a permanent ban. He will be missed:thumbup:
