Car/Truck parts wholesalers like Stahlgruber or Europart have Knipex. I think they have stores around Nuremberg/Fürth.I know someone who will be visiting family in Germany this summer, they'll be staying near Ebermannstadt, which is near Forchheim. Are there any places to buy tools nearby? I'm mostly looking for Knipex.
Infinite energy?
My latest thinking is that I may order the tools from TBS-Aachen and have them delivered to the place where she will be staying (free delivery in Germany). TBS tells me that all she needs to do at customs is to show the invoice and the items - apparently they stamp the invoice. yeah jig saw blades and sometimes recip saw blades also swiss made. At Aldi the sell the german made equivalent. They have those Parkside blades in Lidl here as well, every time they have jigsaws, the blades sell out fast though, as they are actually pretty good, certainly better than the Jigsaw.
niceGot a Fein WSG 20-180

sweetStahlwille MANOSKOP 730dr/10 10-100nm.Extremely accurate![]()

Then it´s time !Monte
We don't have an Aldi locally yet, they have applied for planning for a store in my town but the council was sitting on it, so they have gone to the top for a decision. We shall see if we get an Aldi or not.
The Fein Grinder was £110, brand new, just 3 year old stock, its just so nice compared to my ordinary Hitachi 9", soft start, rotatable rear handle, nice long cord, nice guard.

Looks like you almost have every necessary tool you need ! So the garage is not too far awayThanks Monte.Next on my list Gedore 4550-30 60nm-300nm.I took Manoskop 10-100 because almost bolt torque on cars are between ~ 8nm-120nm.But i need gedore for wheel bearing axle nut and some bushing nut and some lower arm bolt.
Monte i hope that in the new thread you will post pics with repairs that you will do on cars so we learn something from your experience like in "Wheeler dealers"
If I win the lottery I will open myself garage![]()

Thanks for the tip on the jig saw blades.

I meant to ask you, between Volkel and Ruko taps, which do you think is perhaps better?

It is branded after Wurth and it has the multispline kind of sockets and a few screwdriver bits.
