Are those your motorcycles or do you work on those as well? I think we need some pics of the motos!![]()

You guess right! Your remarks re: their quality sold me on them in fact, and I've now spent far far too much on tools lately because of you and this forum in general! lol@sick puppy:
I guess the Knipex and Facom pliers are better because of the piano wire inserts which are stronger than the regular pliers with forged tips.
I don`t know which ones you`d rather buy , i guess "King Tony" because the name sounds cool ???![]()
no i guess Knipex

@lipadj46
nice tool collection !!! Harry Epstein has some great deals ! I like those wrenches too ! (and pliers + sockets + ....)Do the insulated screwdrivers say "Spain" or "Germany" ?
@moose:
thanks for the pics !!
i wish my parents would let me use their garage back then (but it is even narrower, built in the 50`s for a VW Käfer...) . But as long as there is enough space and you can work on cars there it`s a very good place i think. Everything fits in there, no rent (?) (or low) i guess - and it seems to be a nice + quiet street + neighborhood (ok maybe except you work with a impact gun). ps: what jack stands did you use in the last pic with the A4 ?? (looking for stands which don`t damage the underbody) A buddies neighbor works in a similar place since decades and he just bought a moveable hydraulic lift to lift up the whole car.
some recent pics of our garage (but with 9 lessees)
Moose,
I like how you have all those green storage bins on that one wall. Are you happy with its utility?
It is big enough to work in, but a bit tight. With the Audi S4 in, i measured that i had 3-4" at the back, from the rear bumper to the garage door, 30" either side and 22" from the front bumper to my toolbox.
No air compressor yet, so no noise from that.
My friend who owns the S4 has a garage the same size, detached from his house with a piched roof. I may rent it from him to use as my own little shop. I would have a lot more space in there with nothing else but my toolbox and a workbench.(And maybe a compressor, some welders, an engine stand, an engine crane.. etc..
)
The S4:
Built in Germany too!

I found a pair of nippers in a box of rusty stuff, and paid $1 for it since I thought it was cool. Underneath all the rust - to my surprise - I found the inscription "Occupied Germany British Zone". Guess that dates and locates the tool, eh?
@Monte
Nice tools, How about matador sold in Germany? Thanks for the pics!
Two old German HEYCO vs Mercedes Benz wrenches that i got here:
Maybe a stupid question but...can those rusty old wrenches be re-chromed?

Those had a black finish when they were put in mercedes trucks toolboxes at the factory.
Do you have a pic (or two?)
