Sharp set you've got there. Btw, those 'tube' sockets are great in certain situations. They remind me what made up a part of nearly all the motorcycle tool kits I've seen going way back.
I don’t think they’ve changed the design of those tins in 50 years! Oh well, if it aint broke don’t fix it!

Regarding bit holder for 3/8 drive, I purchased a WERA a few months back and it comes in handy.Knipex 'flat nose' pliers + Unior 3/8" quick release bit holder.
The pliers seem to be great. They have quite wide, comfortable handles for such small pliers. My general complaint with Knipex pliers is that the dipped handles are too skinny and the multi-component grips are too clunky. These are Goldilocks for me.
Seen a few reviews on Amazon staying the tips don't come together. These look good. Full length of the jaws come together when you squeeze the handles.
Jaws are smooth.
Unior bit holder. Bought because it was the cheapest quick release bit holder I could find with 3/8" square drive. There's not many to choose from in 3/8".
Unlikely, but was hoping the knurled collar may be useable like a spinner, but unfortunately it freely rotates.
Surprising from the finish and overbuilt design, it's not rated for impacts.
I assume it comes from a Taiwan manufacturer rather than made by Unior.

Nice!

The look nice. I've only ever seen very cheap ones.626/8 is the part no. of the set.

I've had that straight electric screwdriver since that Xaiomi Zu Hause. I use it hard and it has been great.Wiha zai hause.

New to me. Looks a lot like the Xiaomi stuff.

Round edges are more durable.I'm still not convinced by the rounded corners, though. I think other people have different experiences when comparing screwdriver tips, so maybe it depends on the type of screws.![]()
I don't know. But tapered tips are also more durable.Does anyone know why bits and stubby drivers are mostly parallel, and full-size drivers are mostly tapered? For prying?
I think Britool Hallmark is still a thing, they are marketed more for the automotive trade.I see 'Expert' is now Facom rather than Britool, and has been integrated into the Facom website. Maybe for some time now. Wonder if this means that the Britool name is now completely gone. I guess Britool has been a brand associated with cheap tools long enough now that it no longer represents quality, or adds value, at least to younger generations. Used up and discarded.
I know it's unfair to say that Expert tools are 'cheap,' but it would undermine my rant a little to say 'mid-range, pretty good quality.'![]()
Quality wise, probably comparable to the rest, certainly for wrenches.I'm thinking about ordering some Elora wrenches. How do they compare to the other German brands ?

Yes, a friend had a Stahlwille set of the same style. I hadn’t fully appreciated them till then. The look nice. I've only ever seen very cheap ones.
