Drive by the Miller plant everyday. I have toured SO's Milwaukee plant. Milwaukee Morgan is still in Milwaukee. A few sawzall are still made in Brookfield I believe.
Bucyrus-Erie, big boy tools, the Bucyrus part of it started here but has been long gone.
I grep up just north of Muskegon, MI, where they once made Yost vises. I'd love to find one for sale stamped with Muskegon. They are now manufactured a half hour south in Holland, MI.
I am now living in Kalamazoo, MI where Atlas bench tools were made, later bought out by Clausing. Clausing still operates here, but I'm not sure if they do much manufacturing at this location. Kalamazoo Industries makes industrial power tools here also, but they're priced out of my league. I live just about 5 minutes from KM Industrial Machinery, which makes CNC machines, lathes, and other industrial machinery.

I got a bunch of Williams wrenches made in Brooklyn.Nothing here in NYC, maybe New Jersey at one time?
Wright Tool & Forge is about 10 minutes from my hometown.
Cornwell is about 30.
