Drill bit sharpener. Ten years unopened box.
I'm curious if it sharpens LH twist drill bits? I had to sharpen a LH drill bit a month ago, and it was REALLY difficult to reverse my muscle memory. I finally got it.........sort of. It made a nice long curly chip from one face. The other face was just kinda along for the ride. Did get the rusty/stripped screw out of the plastic headlight bucket though!

Cooling system pressure testing kit with a bunch of adapters. It's great! I haven't had any cooling system issues since I got it and I've never used it.

Call it insurance! Kind of like my snowblower; if I clean the plug, change the oil, start it and tune it to get it ready for winter... no snow ever falls. Leave it in the back of the shed un-prepared for the flakes flying we get two feet for the first snowfall.

That's the only reason why I keep my Drill Doctor. Have to buy the "chuck" to sharpen LH drills though. Many people say the DD is junk but honestly once I learned how to use it properly it's not that bad & with the diamond wheel I can sharpen my solid carbide drills. It's not the greatest, definitely for the home gamer but it's decent enough for me.

I do have a somewhat nicer drill sharpener but I haven't used yet so I suppose that's another thing appropiate for this thread. But one day I'll stop being lazy & use it when I have a bunch of drills to sharpen.

I can sharpen drills by hand, I don't do it a lot so I'm not the greatest but I can do it well enough that a dull drill will actually drill again & cut chips from both flutes. LH drills I've never tried sharpening by hand & I'm pretty sure if I try I'll fubar them. Mainly it's the S&D or drills over 1/2" that I sharpen by hand. The DD I have is supposed to be able to sharpen up to 3/4" but I could never get it to work on S&D drills, the flute helix angle is not compatible I guess.
