My daughter put this in a Justice (young girls clothing store) box just to pick on me. She said she thought it would be good for the garage.

I love this sign! Any idea where she bought it from?

It's not really a "tool" but I have wanted one for the garage for quite a while now. It gets kinda cold in these parts & this will be nice once I get it installed!
The wife really gets me! (I got real lucky when I married her!)

A few days ago I was looking for a padlock at Lowe's, and I saw the small task force ratcheting screwdriver kit for like 4 bucks, so I had to pick one up just to keep at home. I also bought a set of Husky wrenches, they're in my work toolbox now, I doubt I'll use them much, but I don't have any other wrenches like that, so for the price, I figured I'd eventually find a job that would require them.
I bought a Milwaukee hex to 3/8" adapter for a couple bucks. Also, on the top, its not new, but new to me, an IR air ratchet (can't remember the model #) but got it from my old man. I needed an upgrade to the old, bulky chicago pneumatic one I use at work.

I also received $150 in giftcards for Sears, so I'll be there later this week on my day off seeing what tools I can spend it on :)

I don't remember her pointing it out, but I'll hang it in the garage. :)

How's that OTC torque angle? I've narrowed my choice down to that one and the SO version. Huge price difference, but I think the OTC is good enough.

It's fine looks like it will do the job "good enough". It's a pretty simple tool and it was like $10. Kinda hard to mess something like that up :D.

Nice to see so many of you got some good tools for Christmas!

Here are mine. Impaktor PH#2 and PH#3 set (I need these for a project I'm starting), Wera security set for a project I never finished, Wera Kraftform Kompakt with all Torx bits in the handle, Wera bitratchet set, Snap-On orange T-handle ratcheting to match the other ratcheting drivers I've been putting into a secondary chest and cabinet, and a magnetic wristband.

Pretty sure this is the same set I've been looking at.

Is it 86037? Thoughts on quality?

S-K 86224 http://www.tooltopia.com/sk-hand-tool-86224.aspx

I don't have a use for long pattern wrenches (86037), so I can't speak directly to the length of those etc. , but I can determine from the std length wrenches I got as a gift that the finish is very nice and from the weight of them they seem to feel very solid.

S-K fit and finish looks to be excellent in every respect, as are the Williams wrenches I also received.

Most of the work I've been doing (dirt bikes, maint and rebuild) has little clearance, or is wide open with fasteners typically 17mm or less.

When I can get to a fastener, it's almost always either in a very cramped space where it would be impossible to use a socket and swivel or a long pattern on it, or small and open where a long pattern would be unnecessary as I just put a 6pt socket on it and go.

Midgets are just about right ;)

No tools from the wifey, we were keeping it on the down low this year. My oldest daughter and her BF gave me a HD gift card and some cash. It's going towards some 6 or 8" c-clamps to hold the brake I'm working on to the work bench.

Why would you want to return them? Those stubby wrenches can come in very handy and it looks like a pretty nice set. Do you already have a short combo set?

When they arrived they had already a bit of surface rust - just some minimal points on the surface but the first impression was negative.
Its my first short set since I just started to buy tools. Should have gone for a ratched short combo set instead.

I forgot -> also bought 3M Peltor Optime III earmuffs and I absolutly love them.

Gearwrench 1/4" drive swivel head (I'd never paid swivel heads any attention until I started hanging out here, now I have to have them!)
HF tire bead breaker
HF bubble balancer
(Already have tire irons. Now I can do my own wire wheels and don't have to beg for someone around here to touch them.)

I got an 18v Dewalt cordless drill/impact driver set (the 3/8 hex driver) I never knew how awesome the driver was until I tried it out on a couple of old slotted head anchor screws holding up a cast iron radiator for 60 years...and they came right out without damaging the head at all.
