Saw this mentioned in another thread, when is it over?

What's 20% off of $3.98 ? ... That's flat out ridiculous.![]()
It would cost 3.18. I wish mike was a Snap-on,Hazet,or Wiha dealer, with 20% off. He sounds like a decent vendor. I just don't buy Asian.

I'd feel silly as hell buying an extra long combination wrench for $3.98 ... let alone $3.18 ... jeez.![]()

I would feel silly as hell for buying one for $31.80 that doesn't work any better.![]()
.Your example is well proven though because when those terminal crimpers hit this site, I immediately sold out in about 6 weeks.,
Merk,
you made me laugh out loud. You know the sailor types get pretty touchy calling anything a boat. If you want to **** up to them they prefer the term vessel......heh heh heh
Old school.......if you're unhappy.I make it right..period.
I don;t want to warrranty screwdrivers since I truly think they are a expendable item and have them priced as such.
Craftsman screwdrivers are .99 cents apiece on sale. With a warranty to boot, if one wants to use it. I buy expendable tools, very occasionally at Harbor Junk.Auto
That's fine by me if you don't buy my screwdrivers. It may be a mistake of mine not to warranty them and I may change my mind in the future. But comparing my screwdrivers to the stuff at Sears is not a good comparsion either. I have not had a complaint on any screwdrivers as of yet.
Sincerely,
Has Toptul rejected any of your warranty claims? I guess you will know what their limit or "true warranty" is; if/when they do not give you credit for your warranty returns. I would hope they would give you some leeway; since you are the only Toptul dealer in the USA so far...
Screwdriver breakage is usually user error, regardless of brand. Snap-on to Craftsman, they will all break if pushed too hard.
If I were you, and I'm not, I would warranty legitimate claims. Sometimes phillips can fracture prematurely, flat blades and torx can twist, even if used properly. I would charge more if I had to, just for warranty. You could exclude broken flat tips, that's the biggest offense.
I think you are shooting yourself in the foot, if you don't warranty a honest warranty claim. A lifetime warranty is a long time, but Toptul claims it has one, on their site.
My post was just a "common" reaction of what I think most tool users would think. If there is no warranty, there are easier choices for the same or less money. Good Luck
I have not had one warranty issue so far. The only wrench I have replaced is a 12mm gearwrench that broke that was sold by the previous distributor here in the US.
It is just too easy to keep someone happy so I will do what is needed. I don't really care what Toptul warranties and what they don't because you all won't be asking the factory for satisfaction....you'll be asking me. So essentially I am the one who will be replacing a tool when needed and the I will tell Toptul about it and send pics but other than that all i care about is keeping the customer happy and also finding out if one type of tool I have is prone to failure so I could stop selling it and let the factory know.
Sincerely,
