FWIW....USPS normal tracking only tells you that your package left its shipping point and that it was delivered, nothing else. I think that the shipper may be able to pay an extra fee to get point by point tracking like UPS provides, but I'm not 100% sure of that option.

Point to point is a really nice feature, but is exactly that...a feature. I think knowing when it left and confirmation it was delivered is all I really need along with insurance, but that's just my opinion

I agree. Though I would prefer an estimated delivery date over point to point tracking.

Just a point...I don't care how I ship something. I will ship however the customer wants.
And I have no idea who or what is up with the post that I quoted $51 to ship something.
Just my two cents.

Got my order shipped very promptly. Mike handled customer service perfectly, as I called back couple times and changed the order on him.... Everything I ordered on my final list was there. Couldn't ask for more then that. Also, I know that the issue of great quality has been beaten to pulp around here, however these tools have impressed me to say the least. I will be ordering a second batch of tools from Mike......

Just wanted to Chime in. I placed my 3rd order (I think) with Mike a few weeks back. I ordered on a Fri and they were on my Doorstep by Wed. Mike was a pleasure to deal with as always, and everything I ordered is top-notch once again.

Tools immediately went into Service, The Hex bit sockets are a dream to work with compared to my old CMAN's that I've been so resistant to upgrading. Every time I'm going to Order some Snap-On's the price makes me hold off and just go get the CMAN's replaced. Hopefully those days are over. We'll see how these hold up in comparison. The Cman's are a 6 month Life span so........

Line Wrenches are Perfect. Since I do mostly Bikes, I just don't use them much. Now that I've been building more cars it was time to get a better set. These seem to fit the bill and fit fasteners like a glove.

Screwdrivers are Nice. But I think you'll see them in the Classifieds here soon. I think I bought them out of curiosity more than need. I have 3 sets of Snap-On's 2 Set's of SK's and 1 set of CMAN Pros, and 2 Set's of CMAN standards. I love my Snappies, and use them for anything where I have clean Nice screws that need to stay that way, the SK's are pretty Nice, and the CMAN's are all for Utility and removing Junky screws that are going to be replaced. So the Toptul's just won't see much use. They seem to fit screws really well, pretty decent feel in the hand. Just don't really need them.

Anyway, I've amassed a decent little collection of Toptul Stuff, been using them Daily for a year now, still no complaints or Problems. So Mike and Keep up the good work.

I just received my first Toptul Order on Friday. I placed my order on Tuesday, payed on Wednesday, and it came in the mail on Friday along with a free catalog that Mike threw in. I couldn't be any happier with Mike's service. He was super quick to answer my emails, even when he was sick. You can definitely tell he takes pride in what he does.

My order mainly consisted of 1/2" drive metric deep and standard sockets, and all I can say is wow. The finish is flawless. Polished inside and out, and make my craftsman sockets pale in comparison.

The only problem I have with them is how small the size markings are. If they were to offer laser etching as well it would definitely help.

Anyway, I expect this to be the first of many transactions I have with mike.

I just placed another order with Mike last week and got it in yesterday... I think it is somewhere about my 4th or so order. I will say to notch again packing and quality of the stuff I got for the money. Here are some pictures, the extensions are just to add to my stash as I am trying to build up my extensions and now I am close to what I want.

Stud installers/removers you.... They aren't rated for high torque, but should work for installing studs. I don't think any of them are for high torque as you can damage the threads... I will get some more pictures so you can see what they say on the directions.

Here is one taken apart. The max torque is 15 ft lbs for the two smaller ones and 25 ft lbs for the two larger ones.

Also the gearwrench adapters to make them into a ratchet. Next to a 3/8 in a 1/4 body koken ratchet to show how deep one is over the other.

Toptul might not be snapon but is becoming my tool of choice if I don't want or can't afford a truck brand, much better than most craftsman in my opinion.

I got those 3/8 locking extensions too. I already had a MATCO set and the TopTul's are every bit as good, if not better than them (since one of my MATCO's basically exploded like a month after I bought them). I can't wait until the 1/4 locking extensions come out. They're in the catalog, but last time I checked, they weren't available yet.

Any updates on those Mike?

I just want to add to this thread that Mike's customer service has been great for me. I called him earlier this week to get a price on a screwdriver set and ask some other general questions. What I liked is he was very friendly on the phone and you can tell he really enjoys discussing tools. I also never get the feeling from him that I was wasting his time even though I wasn't looking to make a purchase at that moment. That is more that what I can say for some places I've called before under similar circumstances. I look forward to doing business with him in the very near future.

I ordered a set of 3/8 Drive Metric Hex Bits Part number: GAAG0702 from Mike a couple of months ago. So far they are working out great. I use Hex Bits a lot and these seem to be holding up well. They fit fasteners great, still show nearly zero wear. I'm quite happy so far. I went through many sets of the CMANs simply because they wore out quickly. They would always warranty them no problem, but I was tired of it. Plus even when brand new they would constantly fall out of the holder. I was going to just buy a set of SO's but decided to grab the Toptul's and give them a shot since they were considerably cheaper. We'll see how they're doing a year from now, but so far so good. Based on my experiences with the Other Toptul stuff I have, I expect these to last quite well.

ive got 2 3/8ths drive hansen trays full of sockets, extention, ratchet, and a screw drivers. ive been very happy with them so far. the sockets fit, look, and work great. i havent had a chance to put them through too much, but im happy so far.

the screw drivers have been amazing so far!

Anyone with knowledge/experience (not just guessing) as to quality of operation and finish being EQUAL between these two brands.

Genius is another Taiwanese brand and they do source some of their items from Rotar. They are not owned by Rotar. Neither is Sonic. SD

fyi: there are about 600 tool manufacturers in Taiwan and more than 1000 in mainland china, so not everything what looks like Toptul is also from them. Some are copies and some are copies of copies....And they also dont make everything on their own like the adjustable wrench for example.
