this is what Toptul USA did to me
here's what I got for them
I got sucked in by this thread and thought that with a 50% discount I'd give them a try.
Dang, I was just about to possibly order something...I guess I'll stick with my Snap-On.ba614 said:this is what Toptul USA did to me

I bought 2 sets of sockets, a rachet, 2 t-handles and a set of torx keys from Toptul USA. The socket sets were just incomplete socket sets individually thrown in a tore up paper sack and stuffed in a box. After contacting the company web site by email and make calls to Brian Dowling the owner I never recieved a return phone call {always got the machine} I still don't have my sockets. This has been ongoing since Feb. I also contacted Toptul in Tiawan and they said they contacted Mr. Dowling but he has still never contacted me. Finally after about a month and 4 or 5 email's back and forth with Mr. Yen in Tiawan he sent an an email saying he would send me 6 sockets and a T-handle to make up for what Mr. Dowling shorted me on my order. BUT! they no longer make sockets in the sizes I was shorted. So he sent me a list of sockets to choose from and said he would send them along with the T-handle I was shorted by express shipping.
That was 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I still havn't recieved anything from them.
The tools look to be of high quality. I have used the ratchet once and it worked fine. I probably won't use thier tools. It pisses me off every time I look at them. I have 4 other socket sets I can use and quite a few ratchets so I really didn't need any of the tools I ordered to begain with.

I had good results with Toptul; the wrenches arrived quick, fairly good quality, and with the discount, it was a good buy. Toptul does not appear to log in on GJ very often. Send him a e-mail ... he's pretty responsive .. his e-mail is [email protected] ...amishman said:hmmmm. I have sent a number of emails to Toptul from their website and zero answers so far and also PMed Toptul here but no answers. Bummer!
Is the USA distributor a small company? I would expect some-kind of answers within a day or two but nothing so far and they do not have a phone # that I could find.
Sad as I was really interested in some of these tools.
Oh well, back to Craftsman and other brands I guess.
