I just got the Torque App just for the hell of it and my new Bluetooth OBD2 adapter showed up in the mail today. This is the one I got.

I did hook up and read real time info and even pulled/cleared a code on my 99 Grand Am, the whole time a message was on the real time screen,
"Faulty obd adapter".
And under adapter settings I had 103 errors and 8 faults.
My question is does anyone else run this combo or have similar issues? I don't want to pay $100 plus for a good adapter and if all the cheap Chinese knockoffs are like this than I don't want to return it.
This was just a toy to me and wanted to check it out. At $100-150 I rather get a real scanner. I just thought it was a cool little thing for my smartphone.
