torque wrench

I'm new to this so I have this same post all over hells half acre, I found a jcpenney torque wrench for $ 20.00 it has USA on it. Is it junk or should I buy it. Who made them? Thanks for the help. Pete.

Post a picture. If it's USA, it could be made by one of the real tool companies.

I bet it is a utica made one and they are quality, just depends on if it was cared for and kept in calibration.

I think the jc Penney brand of tools used sk as their manufacture.

I do not have a picture .this guy worked for jcpenney he did not use it .It looks perfect.

If you want me to check the calibration I will. However, probably wont be able to calibrate it if it requires special tooling or parts replaced. There are other calibration houses dedicated for that, I know if a couple in WI.
