Work will kill ya...lol. I joke about it but its true. Every year when it gets cold is what we call "remote start season". It is the most profitable time for me. With my business I work on-site. From about November thru the end of march I pretty much install remote starters non stop from about 8am till sometimes 2am if a customer is willing to have me at their house that late. Then I get home and wire-prep the next days units or get orders ready to ship out. There are many nights that my wife wakes up in the morning to find me at my workbench with no sleep for 36-48 hours. I try to stay on top of it but usually my health starts to fail. Nearly every year I develop "walking pneumonia" or even worse yet I still go at it. I'm a one man army and nobody does it as good as I would. Now though with the older I get (39) and with our 3rd son (being delivered in just a few hours) I really start to rethink my future of hard work and need to seriously higher someone or lessen the load and stress. As I stated before something you love will turn into something you hate unless managed properly. Too much business can become bad business. Time away from family, especially children, cannot be recaptured. I look at my boys, now 3 and 7 and it seems they have grown overnight.

Maybe it would be a good idea to hire a helper. Working 16 hour days is stupid, period. Your jobs suffer from it, your productivity suffers, your family suffers, you suffer.

I work around the corner from the other shop that barely got off the ground. I may need someone soon to help me with a fresh Lvl 2 4l60e that won't act right.

I didn't have any luck with the facebook link above. But I did a quick google search and found his two instagram feeds for him and track one. It looks like they moved the shop to a different area because the old one was too big or too expensive I think. It looks like they are getting everything installed and set up right before re-opening. Looks like its going well. Congrats!

Just finished reading from start to finish, really really a good read. Hats off to you sir. As someone in a similar situation, I would love to hear more about the rebirth of your shop and how you got there!
