The two Tractor Supplys by my house are selling out all their Channel lock supplies. Channel Lock 420s being the best deal for 4.99. Also Crescent stuff and precision craft tools were bottom dollar. They are selling out all brands that are not their own. Might as well get them now.

Crescent is made in China to "Apex Tool's specifications". So nope. They aren't bad for two dollars though.

Out of curiosity, what do you do with 20 of the same pliers other than just resell them? Every time I see a good deal I buy 1 for me and maybe 2 more for good friends.

Ha. For $5 I got two. Still marked 12.99. Had 6 total. Should have a pair or two of 420s anyways around. Might see if dad needs a pair.

Went to my local TSC and they had nada. Tool aisle was already reset to the sew stuff. I was in on it two years ago when they cut their channellock selection way back and clearanced stuff. I was bummed. Headed to the home depot (which is right there) and managed to score right and left handed angled tin snips for 4.93 ( see other thread)---no twin pack of vice grips though. Headed on down the road to my appointment and remembered ther is anther TSC.

They had 4 pairs of 420s left, I bought two. Also a nipper, some punches and some magnets. Had a real good selection.

Good bargain tool day for me.

I grabbed 5 pairs of the 420's. They had the fence tool and the largest pair of pliers, but I'd never use the fence tool, and I already have a couple pairs of the big Channellocks...

Oh, I picked up some Mayhew chisel and punch for $2.99

My local TSC had 6 pairs of the 420s and some others.I grabbed 1 pair of 420s and picked up a mayhew 1/4 pin punch and 3/16 alignment punch for 2.99.The channellock 420s were 4.99.

If anyone needs some of the pliers I will be more than happy to go back and picked them up and pass the savinga along.Just let me know.

I bought the last three pairs at my TSC. They actually had 12.99 stickers on them, so that probably saved them from being picked up.

Couldn't find any of the crescents or any discounted mayhew stuff

If your TS store is out of stock or too far away you might be able to get a pricematch for the Channellocks at Home Depot. I live in Colorado - we have one Tractor Supply store way out in the country. I didnt want to burn the gas to get up there so I printed off a copy of the web price and my local Home Depot cashier was nice enough let me buy 3 pliers at that price.

For folks in the Tampa/Brandon FL area, don't burn your gas in pursuit. I just returned from the TSC in Plant City, they were all out.

I scored two of the 420s for $3.75 ea. And a set of ball end allen keys for $10 or something. All of their clearance stuff was marked off an additional 25%
