Picked up two of the angle grinders about a month ago and I have been using them a good bit since then and have been greatly impressed...add into that the reduced price and it's a killer deal.

Those two Porter Cable grinders bring my grinder count up to 4...1 Black & Decker, 1 Makita, and now the 2 Porter Cables.

I'll usually keep a cut-off wheel on one grinder, a wire brush on another, a grinding wheel on the third, and a flap disc on the last one.

Get a 3M backing pad for 4.5" scotch brite pads and you can polish welds like you wouldn't believe.

So a few other things I picked up at the same time which are very useful to me:

assortment of Lynch Pins was $2.99, put it at $2.70 with the 10% coupon I had received in the mail. I got all three assortments as 2 individual pins will run you $2.70 pretty easy (depending upon size etc)

assortment of lock pins was priced at $6.99 but rang up $4.99, thus $4.50 with my coupon. I got both that they had, I seem to run thru these on my trailer (see pic below, already installed a new lock pin on one ramp pivot). Clamshell Bulldog couplers use these too.

a gallon of Greased Lightning was $2.99, thus again $2.70 w coupon. From what I can tell this is just basically Formula 409 which is awesome for cleaning machines and the drivetrains on my bikes. I'll use it.

edit: my store had started moving a lot of random clearance stuff to a small space next to the rattle can paint, FWIW. Some of it was still in the bins at the front of the store (bins which seemed to pop up before Xmas).

I don't think anyone doubted the TSC jack was the same as HF, but I snapped some shots today next to my HF version.

With their light weight these are great for taking to look at used car purchases, etc. Quickly elevate a wheel to look for wb play, etc. And of course they seem to be very popular at the track. The downside is they wouldn't have enough capacity to, say, change a flat on a loaded (tandem axle) trailer in most cases.

edit: the only difference is the TSC version has a rubber pad on the bottom of the handle to protect bumpers and valances. No big deal but a nice touch. Some of the HF versions may also have this, I think they sell the 1.5T jack under a couple different item numbers?

dang it !!!

closest TSC to me is like a 45 minute drive

might just get a wild hair and go up there to check it out

over an hour and a half at best for me. They are building one 3 blocks from my house though but no idea when it will be finished. They just started having lights on inside the building in the last few days. I doubt they will have anything on clearance till after they are open for abit.

Well I drug myself into TS to see about some Warn winches. They were all clearanced but the shelf was empty. I asked the manager about any back stock and she said a guy came in Saturday and bought every single Warn winch they had. *******!

In an attempt to save the trip I found these 2 items on clearance:

Dewalt SAE impact socket set $14.99
http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/dewaltreg%3B-1-2-in-10-piece-impact-readyreg%3B-socket-set

Traveller Roller Cabinet Seat $19.99...no longer on the site but referenced here.

Yes, that's the one. Was $79.99 marked down to $29.99. Figured it was worth the $29.99 but it rang up $19.99 at the register. It has ball bearing drawers and is rated for 350#'s. The cushion on the seat is twice as thick as my HF one without the drawers. Made the trip worth it for sure since I'll be doing ball joints on my truck tomorrow. The drawers will come in handy for all the tools I'll be using. I'll put it together tonight and see how well its built.

Well, I put it together and have a couple of thoughts...

It will probably hold what the 350# it claims. It's built pretty well. The drawers are ball bearing and they come with liners but don't expect 100# per drawer. The side trays fold up and secure. Not sure if you can tell that from the picture. They also come with magnetic liners to keep things from rolling around. The seat cushion is twice as thick as my HF roller without the drawers and has better foam and vinyl. Overall it might have been worth full price to some, definitely worth $29.99 as it was marked and was a steal at $19.99. It will last a long time at the house and would probably last a decent amount of time in a shop.

Dewalt hacksaw:

Found this chicom made hacksaw on clearance for about 50% off. Seems solid for the price. The store where I found this one still has two of the Porter-Cable recip saws and two of the Black Bull grinder stands for about half off the original marked price.

The CH Hanson magnetic stud finder was priced at $4.99 clearance in my store but rang up
$2.99. I have a friend who makes his living everyday as a carpenter and swears by this over all other stud finders. Here's the product on Amazon ($8.99)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000IKK0OI/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1406830706&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40#

That stud finder is awesome and works perfect. I have been using mine a bunch hanging my Gladiator cabinets and it works much better than the Zircon that I have. It laches onto the dry wall screws and where there are screws there are studs. I can't recommend this little stud finder enough.

Good luck.

Stopped at my TSC tonight. They had these Channel Locks marked down from $12.99 to $9.99 and I figured what the heck...
Went to pay for them and they rang up @ $6.99!
Great price for USA made pliers.

Kawasaki 19.2 drill $29.99. I assume this is a kit but I know nothing of Kawasaki cordless tools.

Virtually all of the Legacy anodized air fittings are on clearance. I can't say I "get it" but whatever floats your boat. I did grab a blow gun $3.99 and 0-120 pressure gauge $3.99 from this end cap

Well considering the 4 major new build tractor name brands are red (Case IH, Massey Ferguson) Blue (New Holland) or Green (well duh) that may bring you closer to "getting" it.
